Do you podcast alone or with others?

Having a co-host can be extremely helpful when it comes to creating compelling, dynamic content that is interesting to listen to. Co-hosts can also help relieve some of the workload that comes with producing a podcast. But of course having co-hosts can create its own issues as well.

Join me,+Daniel J. Lewis +David Jackson +Jerod Morris  and others to discuss the ins and outs, ups and downs of having a podcast with co-hosts.

This Round will be live (06/12/15) at 4:00pm PDT, 7:00pm EDT, GMT-7 .

You can watch here on the Event page via the embedded player. This is also the best place to chat with the live audience and the Roundtable.

Mobile viewers can view this Round via YouTube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oyx3BlYldYM

If you can't watch the live-stream, no worries, the archive will be immediately available at http://youtube.com/thepodcastersstudio.

The audio-only podcast version as well as the archived video (including all past Rounds) can be seen at http://PodcastersRoundtable.com

You can subscribe to the RSS mailing list (http://eepurl.com/GnBwr) to get new Rounds delivered to your inbox automatically.

Thanks and I can't wait to see you on a future Roundtable!
This Hangout On Air is hosted by Ray Ortega. The live video broadcast will begin soon.

When +Brian Clark says, "I have the perfect follow-up topic for The Lede," you get him scheduled on The Lede. And he delivers.

Fun podcast with +Jerod Morris and +Demian Farnworth.
In this new episode of The Lede, Brian Clark explains how customer experience maps and empathy maps help you create an audience-first content strategy.

If you do this, and do it consistently, you will set your online business up for long-term, sustained success.
Serving boldly is believing in the value of what you have to offer and committing to delivering it in a way that serves a particular group of people.

This week's Primility post was inspired by one of the most remarkable calls into a radio show that I've ever heard.
A woman's emotional call into a radio show just may inspire you to view everything you do differently.

I love this post by +Demian Farnworth

It's about the magical power of infographics that no one's telling you about (until now).
Infographics -- if you think about them the right way -- can become asset pillars that build your media empire.

- What is content marketing?
- Why does content marketing?
- How do companies take their content marketing to the next level?
- What role does automation play in content marketing?

...and so much more.

If only we could all be the kind of friend that Krishna is to +Lindsey Perkins Wade. I highly recommend this piece.

Read it, and spread the word, in hopes that someone, somewhere knows something about where Krishna is: https://www.facebook.com/findingkrishna

A digital homicide occurred at Copyblogger today. Here's why ...
An audience-first approach drives Copyblogger, and that's just one of the reasons why it's killing its Facebook page. Find out what led to this decision.

Thanks for sharing this, +Jerod Morris. Seeing the comparison (the numbers) between the pages Erika references takes it home.

I use Facebook to manage client pages, and sometimes to check out a family member's photos, but that's about it. I've liked a few pages here and there, but typically never return. I prefer to follow companies / people via G+ or Twitter. LinkedIn is another place where I'll follow or share from.

The only way Derek Jeter’s final at-bat would have been better is if A-Rod had run up and slapped the bat out of Jeter’s hands.

When you're wrong, and know it, how do you respond?

Here's how I reacted in such a situation recently.
Basically ... shut up, listen, and learn. Here's why, and how.

I find this situation to be fairly simple & straightforward. If an apology is appropriate, I apologize, admit I was wrong & acknowledge any impact my error may have caused. Then I thank the people who helped me understand my error, especially when it hurts, & I set about working things out with the new, corrected enlightenment.

It gets easier with age because one tends to be wrong often if given enough years & understanding.

Are you ready to make it rain?

It's a huge, huge day at +Copyblogger today. Why? Allow +Brian Clark to explain ...
Four years ago this month, Copyblogger Media was born. Up until that point, I had launched several businesses off of Copyblogger, with several smart partners. Each of those individual businesses were killing it and had me involved, but those smart individuals weren’t collaborating with each other … because why would they? The five of us[ Continue Reading... ]
