A rather lengthy session report:

Following up on the Doom of the Savage Kings, the players begin to explore James Raggi IV's "Tower of the Stargazer".

As an aside, the village of Bitterweed Barrow has provided the villager fodder for three 0-level funnels; I'm noodling on how to respond to that.
