Pan is an unusual app since it supports building with either gtk2 or gtk3. It probably made sense back in 2011 when it was done. I'm unaware of any other app that supports both major GTK versions right now.

Firefox ESR is now available on all distros where the Snap format works.

The snap channel picker shown in the final screenshot is an Ubuntu patch (maintained in GNOME GitLab) and therefore won't be available in distros that aren't based on Ubuntu, but you can still use the command line to switch channels.

As the screenshot shows, you can also switch to the beta channel or the regular release channel.
