700 million people use Facebook Groups every month, but it’s a second-class experience on mobile, slow and buried in the social network’s main app. So..

If anyone is having trouble rooting their phone after updating to Lollipop, at least some phones (e.g. Nexus 4) require a modified kernel to work, and you can do it all with CF Auto Root.
Just download, reboot the phone to bootloader, and, with phone plugged into PC, run the appropriate script.
With Mac and Linux, first run "chmod +x root-mac/linux.sh" to ensure it's executable.

To anyone asking about OTA updates: no, nobody has it. Google never said it would start today. They only promised source code, which they followed through with. It could be days before a factory image is available and weeks after that before you get an OTA update, so just hold your horses and be patient. It will come; Google wants you to have it as much as you want it.
If you're that desperate, keep checking https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images for the update. It will appear there well before the OTA starts pushing out.

October Meet

I was chasing the train on the right, trying to catch up to it and also respect the 60 km/hr speed limit in the construction zone, when I spotted a headlight in the distance. I tried to gauge where the meet would happen and I think I got it right. It's exciting to watch (and hear) two trains pass each other at track speed!

Actually pretty fun finding all the new videos...they range from cute to funny to disgusting to just really strange.
Also nice to comment and like new videos, since it probably boosts people's self-confidence.

Student, web developer, photographer, and transit enthusiast
Introduction
I am a student, web developer, traveller, tech blogger, and amateur photographer. I live in a small town called Lennoxville a couple hours away from Montreal.

I did my DEC (junior college degree) in Travel & Tourism, and am currently working on a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a minor in Computer Science. For money, I do freelance web development, write for a tech blog, sell my stock photography, charge for my travel planning services, and administrate this Facebook page.
I'm also involved in running a Toastmasters club and a local political party.

Above all else I love to explore, whether that means exploring the world or exploring information.

"We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time."

-T. S. Eliot

As clinics go, Statcare is pretty good on wait times and courtesy. The receptionists and doctors are usually polite, despite the fact that they are incredibly busy. The wait times can be anywhere from 1-4 hours, but unlike hospitals they don't give precedence based on severity of injury, so for minor injuries, general checkups and consultations, it's the best place to go. Now they use a phone notification system, so for the cost of about $2 you can have them call you within 40 minutes of your number coming up. I've never used it, but I can imagine for someone who's working all day it would be a very convenient service. If you don't want to wait around, the trick is to arrive first thing in the morning, before they even open, at around 6:30 or 7am. Then you can see someone pretty quickly.

They really seem to have made an effort to improve "customer service". Everyone there seems quite friendly. If you go to the ER then sure you might end up waiting a long time, but such is the nature of hospitals people are taken in order of urgency.
