I'm running into some trouble setting up something specific in a dashboard and I wondered if anyone here has any suggestions.

I want a simple timeline chart that shows me pageviews of a specific page: /resources/xyz.html as well as the total number of downloads of that related resource (Event Label: XYZ Resource), but I can't figure out how to accurately show both on the same chart. Attached is one of the closest things I've come up with.

If I use Page as a filter, it shows no views and no Events. If I use Page Title as a filter, it shows a few of each, but not accurate pageviews. If I get rid of the 4th filter, it shows the proper number of Total Events, but I don't think the pageviews are accurate either.

Is there some shortcut way to add reminders other than via voice or opening Google Now, opening the side menu, selecting Reminders and clicking the + FAB? I'd love a widget, setting, or app that would help with this. 90% of the time I just use voice to add a reminder, but sometimes that isn't appropriate (meeting at work, etc).

+Jeremy A. Williams Yes, you can go into settings on Inbox and turn on/off notifications which includes reminders. Unfortunately, as far as I know, you can't turn off one and leave the other one on. Email notifications and reminders or either both on are both off for Inbox.

What's the deal with Periscope and Meerkat? I joined +Craig Dehut and +Braden Worrell on this week's +Crossing the Vector Line episode to talk about live streaming video apps.

Enjoy!

I love Google Now and use the voice feature for reminders all the time but sometimes using voice doesn't make sense (meetings, etc). If I type "Reminder" into my Google search bar, it pops up the reminders section of google now for me to create a new one.

Does anyone know how I could create a shortcut with Tasker that when I tap on it, it would open up for me to create a reminder?

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I've used tasker for several years, but it's still a bit of a process for me to get things up and running. My inbox reminders still don't pop up in the notification shade, so I think I'll stick with just typing "remind me to..." into the google search bar.

Thanks again for all the help!

I have a Goals question. I want to set up a goal to track when people download a resource on my webpage. Here are the three pages I want to include in my path:

/resources
/resources/name-of-resource
/resources/download

However, I want name-of-resource to be any resource we have (ex. resrouce-one, resource-two, another-resource). How would I set up a wildcard to accomplish that within Google Analytics Goals?

Similarly, for our case studies our structure is /case-studies/request-pdf?case-study=name-of-case-study-goes-here Would I accomplish the "wild card' the same way?

What you could also possibly do is to track those file downloads as events and use those events as a goal? If you want to fire on all file downloads, use the event category to fire the goal e.g event category = File Downloads.

If you want to fire on specific files, use regex to fire on specific file downloads.

Event could look something like this -

Event category : File Downloads
Event Action : case studies
Event Label : {{click url}}

Create the trigger to fire when the click url contains case study and pdf

I'm having trouble creating a goal that ends with an Event (ex. clicks on a signup button), but involves a path. Can anyone help?

For example, I want to track users that land on a landing page, click the CTA to our signup page and then click on the create account button (which we track as an event). Is that possible?

The other wrinkle is we have separate subdomains:

Landing page is: _website.com/landingpage_
Signup page is: _app.website.com/signup_

First of all, it's cash only so bring cash with you or use their ATM. The donuts and food are solid for the price you pay, which isn't much. Great value and, to be honest, I like the donuts more than the "craft donut" places around that charge about 10x more per donut.

Amazing authentic Cuban cuisine in the middle of Broad Ripple. On top of the great food, the owner is extremely welcoming. Be sure to get your Cafecito after your meal!

The food was nothing to write home about, but when you're serving 13 theaters of people, you kinda need to serve things that can be made quickly. Our service was only ok and I'd highly recommend ordering as soon as you sit down, otherwise you might be waiting for a while.

Good food, nice variety of Italian, Asian, and American pasta dishes. Don't expect something amazing, but for the price it's quite good. I love the Indonesian Peanut Sauté and the Thai Hot Pot.
