Whatever happened to the API for Textview.setIndents(left, right), that was introduced for API 23 at Google I/O 2015?

Android N preview is out for your Nexus devices. Support for Java 8 and Jack compiler. Also a 2.1-alpha1 version of Android Studio is ready.

How would you solve this requirement?
An app need to request a token/"piece of data" from a server. This data expires every 5-10 minutes, and the app then needs to request a new token/"piece of data".
Of course we don't like polling for data all the time, but the token is needed for the app to do its functionality. It only have to be done when the app is in the "foreground" though.

There are many unappealing attempts to solve this search StackOverflow. Please share any thoughts on how to solve this.

Tip!
When you have upgraded to local Java client to version 7 build 67, you can find a new desired feature in the Java Control Panel (See picture). No more accidental Ask Toolbar installs ;)

(Also the java.com website will help you uninstall older versions of Java if you do not need them)
