It's a good point. People need to see Vaping as a positive thing... Not a bloody "gateway" to smoking. That's like saying alcohol free beer would lead you to drink! People drink that stuff to stop themselves drinking alcohol not the other way round.

I vape to keep me off the Fags... And God, does it work!

I totally agree. Though it is the only effective way I know to get the point across that vaping isn't smoking and that I have quit.

Sorry for being out of touch but it's not been a great couple of weeks.

So I was on my way to the first day of my 650cc Licence training and really excited. Then a 70 year old man decided to drive out of an obscured junction into the road without looking.

So thanks to him my beloved first bike is dead... Lame. I'm bruised to hell but thanks to some cautions I took on approaching said junction, no broken bones. The only way I could have avoided this one was to stop, dismount and walk out down the pavement. The AH needed to realise why junctions are marked "give way". You can't just plough into occupied road space!

Hire bike arrives tomorrow. Another YBR so that's easy enough to get to grips with.

I'm definitely not done with riding but I've decided to stick in my current power band. At least for a bit. I'm hoping for a cheque rather than a repair job... I've got my eye on the Yamaha MT 125...it'll do 80mph anyway lol.

Plan is to take Module One myself and run the MT for pleasure and then I'm going to finally go for my car test. Is about time I got my ass driving anyway. I'm 36 after all LOL. My CBT runs out in June and there's no way I feel up to the DAS course at the moment.

I'll give it a year and see how I feel about big bikes then. At the moment I'm looking for a bridging bike until my confidence is back up again.

I know serious bikers might think I'm being a wuss but this was my first ever crash on anything and I'm just pleased I'm happy to get back on 2 wheels as step one.

The MT looks like enough to have some fun with in the meantime.

Ride safe amigos. I'll keep you posted

Still waiting. Apparently they have now costed the repairs and now ee wait for the other parties insurer to say repair or write off.

Other chap isn't contesting but still hasn't sent in his sketch of the incident... So they are carrying on regardless without his info.

Should find out this week. I'll let ya know.

I built me a gas BBQ... A whole new world of outdoor meat consumption! Bye bye charcoal. Bye bye waiting hours. Bye bye pouring everything flammable in the house onto it to light it. Life is good. Life is meaty!

Last year I voted Liberal Democrat and got Tories. This year I voted Liberal Democrat and... Oh FFS... Tories again.

I am gobsmacked by the fact that the crushing cuts of the last 5 years and the decimation of our education system and public services, seems to have escaped everyone's memory.

I really understand the Scots wanting a bigger say in UK politics but the SNP campaign has handed the win to the Tories on a tartan plate. Seems counter productive.

This was not the election to make/prove points. I have the same problem with the Lib Dem supporters who turned their backs on the party. It was time to let go of the tuition fees saga... You can't blame them for that forever afterall.

Dark days ahead.

It's about more than just the deficit.

Such a shame that it'll be 5 years before the effects of an unrestrained Tory government become clear.

I wish I was rich. Then I could relax.

I'm not even poor and I'm anxious as hell.

What do you all think?

This is all my own opinion and nothing more. Genuinely interested in everyone's thoughts. Post below but please keep it civil or it'll get deleted.

Respect to everyone who voted!

It was an amazing/interesting day.  We are lead by an elitist Etonian who is licking his lips in delight to not only get a majority but to see 3 members of the opposition resign.

This weakened opposition i fear will put a increased Tory stranglehold on us for a long time to come.

Going to get one of these babies. An idiot driver wrecked me and my YBR just before I was due to do my DAS. Gone off the big bike thing now... Looking for some low power fun while I get my confidence back after the crash. My hire bike arrives tomorrow but it's only another ybr sadly lol

Don't be put off by the decor! This is a wonderful restaurant with caring and attentive staff. We had the mezze which was a stunning selection of beautifully cooked classics. The wine was great value and tasty too. At the end of meal I asked I if they had Ouzo and they found me some... Despite it not being on the drinks menu. They didn't charge me for it either! Go check out this hidden gem... Go now... Go on!
