800+ miles off the coast of Portugal, the islands of the Azores were my favorite stop on this year's Europe trip! Stunning landscapes, bubbling hot springs and almost zero tourists. It reminded me of a cross between Ireland, Iceland and New Zealand. Definitely a destination to add to your Bucket List!

After visiting Cinque Terre on our honeymoon, we couldn't wait to get back and explore the Italian Riviera further. Santa Margherita Ligure, Camogli and Portofino were on the agenda this time and we definitely made the most of our 3 days on the sunny Italian coast!

When you think of Tuscany, great beaches probably aren't the first thing that comes to mind. But after a visit to Elba Island, you just might change your mind!

You don't have to spend a fortune to visit Italy's famed Amalfi Coast. Yes, there are still a few deals to be found in this uber-expensive Italian holiday spot!

Just off the coast of Naples, the Italian island of Ischia has everything you could want and more - beautiful beaches, bubbling hot springs and one pretty fantastic castle surrounded by the sea.

Slowly, but surely, I am catching up on our Europe trip posts...from Ireland it was off to Italy and our first stop turned out to be one of my favorite places I have ever visited. The colorful island of Procida is often overlooked for its flashier neighbors like Capri but this little island is a far better choice in my opinion. It's authentic Italy without the designer stores and crowds of tourists so if you're headed to Italy, don't miss it!
