Why 'Crazy Rich Asians' is the best travel film of the year

This romance romp set in Singapore (and filmed there as well as Malaysia) isn't just a good Cinderella-style romance. It's also one of the best films to get you inspired to travel. It's in the same vein as Woody Allen's filmic love letters to New York City and Richard Curtis's versions of London.

See what makes the film so mouthwatering and the places you'll want to visit that are featured in the film.

I've added some great new restaurants to my map Where to eat & drink in London. Some standout cool places to try out:

Gazelle - A hookup between the hotshot bartender Tony Conigliaro & chef Rob Roy Cameron in Mayfair with fine dining and classic cocktails with a twist.

Sabor - Fresh from her stint at Barrafina (and a Michelin star), Nieves Barragán is now at this restaurant off Regent Street, which mixes Spanish stalwarts (tortilla, croquetas) with things like black tomato with confit artichoke and a salad with the spicy Spanish sausage, txistorra.

Coal Rooms - A former train station ticket office in Peckham now serving reportedly good roasts.
