There are some pretty fantastic stats in here! So happy to have some numbers to back up what I've been telling my clients! Career Page, Values, Great Job Postings? Yes, please!
There are a ton of reports and data about candidate experience out there, but if you don't have time for them all, here are 10 every recruiter should know.

Let's Happen To Things. Who's In?
It had long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things.” ~~Leonardo daVinci~~2015 has been a tough year for a lot of people. Already. And, it’s not yet half over. Between the crazy weather, the crazy economy, the tragedies, the illnesses… it’s hard for me to sit here and tell you that everything happens for a reason.Personally, I have to hold on to t...

"If I don't find a match will I die too?" should not be a 6 year old's fear. https://www.facebook.com/HalliesHeros

Calling on you all, my friends, family and colleagues... Let's get Hallie's story out there. Seriously - as Hallie's mom posted on Hallie's Heroes, if a dress can go viral, let's rock this. I know there are a lot of people in this world who need help. I know there are too many kids with life threatening situations. I also know that we can all be heroes in our own way, and for this little girl, it only takes one person to be a match. So, for those of you who pray, please do. For those of you who can donate to research, please do. For those of you who can register to see if you might be a match, please do. And, for those of you who are willing to share this story, please do. bethematch.org http://dbafoundation.org/donate/ ‪#‎teamhalliebea‬ ‪#‎halliesheroes‬

Most parents of a 6-year-old don’t regularly think about their child’s bone marrow. But Denton resident Elyse Barnard constantly has her daughter’s bone marrow on her mind.

Open and positive communication is a necessary component of success in business. #SMB   #positiveleadership
Open and positive communication is a necessary component of success in business. Of all the successful CEOs with whom I have worked, not one has said that their success was the result of operating in vacuum. Each has credited the teams they have built, developed, and led by nurturing professional relationships and fostering two-way communication. Here are 3 basic strategies, which, when put into daily practice, will change the culture in any organ...

I started my business to support working parents. Why? Because the pressures on working parents today are exponential. Everything from the societal pressures of "keeping up with the Joneses", financial pressures, raising children who may be more challenging than a generation ago, the pressure to be "on" all the time, school choice and involvement in a not so great environment, and much, much more. Here are some startling statistics: 88% of working...

Talent Acquisition Strategist | Bridging the knowledge gap between recruiter and job seeker to promote effective hiring.
Introduction

I am a talent acquisition strategist, recruiter and social media enthusiast with a broad understanding of how the candidate sourcing, recruiting and retention processes work. Firm in my belief that greatness can only be achieved when you have the right people on your team; I help companies design innovative recruitment strategies which promote hiring for corporate culture and competency fit.

With a passion for networking and training, I inspire audiences to explore the world of social recruiting. Speaking for professional industry groups; training internal and external recruiters and business owners; and helping businesses grow, I empower people to build a strong referral network and engage their sphere of influence to attract top talent to their organizations.

For executives in transition, I offer a tactical approach to social networking. With the unique ability to reverse-engineer the recruiting process, I coach job seekers in the use of LinkedIn and other social media tools to build and engage their networks, increase their visibility, and take action in their career campaign.

We enrolled our then 7 year old in lessons at Tiger Rock almost exactly one year ago. Over this year he has become significantly more confident, more cooperative, and more respectful. He works hard on the mat, and is able to translate the tenets they learn in class to his everyday life outside of the academy. Any program that can teach physical agility, self defense AND traits like perseverance, self control, integrity, and respect to a VERY independent 2nd grader is a 10 in our book! And, I don't think anyone could have done it better than the amazing staff at Tiger Rock of Frisco! We look forward to our son's journey to black belt and beyond with this team!

Incredible. Steven Heath did an absolutely fantastic job on refurbishing / repairing / refinishing two antique pieces for us. The dresser has to be at least 70 years old, and the bar cart, likely over 100 years... I'll let the photos speak for themselves. I highly recommend Heath Refinishing!
