Despite research telling us it’s a really bad idea, many of us end up working 50-hour weeks or more because we think we’ll get more done and reap the benefits later. And according to a study published last month involving 600,000 people, those of...

Hey everyone! My name is Jen and I work at Carbon Robotics. We're launching our Kick Ass Trainable Intelligent Arm (KATIA) by giving away 10 #freerobots  to the best makers, hackers, builders, and creatives we can find - people who come up with incredible ideas for using KATIA.

Some of the best ideas that have been submitted so far have come from the Maker community where people understand that creativity and ingenuity is paramount!

Let me know if you have any questions. Right after you sign up, you should receive an invitation to submit your idea.

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Love the dialogue before the song. Hadn't heard this little recollection/thought before, so really nice to stumble upon it. This song means a lot to me and I'm glad I found this particular video.

I'm predicting right now that for the next decade, all of the new advances in home cooking are going to be geared towards precision. Entering the fray next year is the Cinder, a countertop cooking device that promises to deliver sous vide-level precision without the bags and the water bath. Think of it as the world's most precise and powerful George Foreman Grill. The question is: will it deliver?

Edit: So I can't delete my review, that I can tell, but I was upset that I delivered to these guys and didn't get a tip (see below). Well... they saw my review, realized their mistake, and got ahold of me to fix it. Now that's awesome. It was only a mistake! Fixing mistakes in business is a mark of good character. Thanks guys. Looking forward to checking out what you guys do. Original post: I delivered food through one of the app delivery startups. It was a $154 order. I stayed longer to help them figure out the meals. They tipped me $3.80. And I got ticketed while I was there. Not cool. Not cool at all.
