I really missed my probiotics over Christmas vacation. But I'm back in the swing of it now (feeling healthier too). Brewing my Jun kombucha every few days- check out the recipe here: http://gratefultable.com/jun-kombucha-my-fave-probiotic-drink/
Oh, and see me if you want a scoby! It's the best kombucha. Seriously :)

I will be making some of this again this year. Because, seven minutes is about all I have, haha... http://gratefultable.com/easy-english-toffee-in-7-minutes-flat-quick-candy-recipe/ Hey, no HFCS. It's a freaking health food!

Hot cocoa on cool mornings, guilt-free! Sweetened with dates and raisins, and a bit like "Bullet-proof" coffee, in that it has some coconut oil and pastured butter in it, for a smooth energy burn. Curbs my appetite- so satisfying. And nutritious! (You know there are all those feel-good nutrients in bittersweet chocolate, right?!) http://gratefultable.com/cocoa-nib-fudge-fruit-sweetened/

Artisan bittersweet chocolate bars are pretty dang pricey... I can save money making this stuff (with exactly my favorite ingredients), and it's at least as healthy! http://gratefultable.com/chunky-cocoa-nib-fudge/

If I'm gonna splurge and eat pasta, I want it to be worth it. IMO, this one is! The pasta salad's made with "Bucatini"... there’s a hole in the middle of what looks like fat spaghetti. So yummy- I love the texture! And something about homemade honey mustard dressing, with a touch of tarragon, thyme, orange, and smoky flavor. Mayo-based salad dressings aren't usually the healthiest, but I'm all for it when it’s made with olive oil! http://gratefultable.com/pasta-salad-w-honey-mustard-dressing/

I left an iron pan on my oh-so-pretty induction stovetop... it got water under it and left a rust ring. Horrors! Thankfully, a few simple household tools came to the rescue. ("Goop", "Goo Gone", and vinegar.) Just thought I'd mention it, in case this happens to you! http://gratefultable.com/induction-stove-top-vs-gas-electric/

This rice made our tummies happy! So colorful... Put saffron to work (it's got some health benefits even), with pistachios, cranberries. I simplified the original "Jeweled Rice" recipe, 'cuz I knew that wasn't gonna happen! http://gratefultable.com/persian-rice-aka-jeweled-rice/

Now that I've got an immersion blender, my mayo is turning out perfect. So- I can make stuff like potato salad, totally guilt-free, since this is some healthy mayo. (And ya know: cold potatoes have the goods- resistant starch for our gut health!) (And olive oil- well, you've heard about the "Mediterranean diet benefits right?) http://gratefultable.com/mayonnaise-aka-aioli/
