I cosplayed as Zelda from Skyward sword, it was meant to be something easy I could make but it ended up being quite an in-depth process...

What cosplay costumes have you tried that ended up being more work that you could have imagined?

Hi everyone, I went to a StreetPass event two weeks ago and it was a lot of fun. If you play DS, do you have any groups like this around? Nintendo have been very supportive of the Brighton one in the UK :)

Does anyone else do 'casual cosplay' or 'everyday cosplay' ? If so what inspires you?

I had a go with Frozen recently, not sure how it turned out.

I think the film is a little rubbish in general, but it is so beautiful to look at I can't help but forgive it! It is my entire dream style, tea dresses and chunky cardigans are my whole life. I'm pleased to see someone else that appreciates it.

The Oxfam near George Street has some really great vintage finds as they regular have a pop-up vintage corner with lots of good stock. Age UK on George Street is great too, it has a ton of 80/70s stuff. I was always a bit disappointed with London Road's offerings if I'm honest, I would definitely suggest going to Hove instead.

More generally speaking I tend to find that the Salvation Army usually has a good selection of vintage mixed in with its wares... although I never found one in Brighton.
