In today's office, how can you avoid #2 100%???

Hi Jenna. I am not sure you can avoid it 100% of the time. That is why I advocate eliminating distractions for about 60% of your day. Beyond allowing you to do focused work that will often produce better quality of work faster, it will also train your team and customers around the expectations you set.  People expect you to multi-task because you do. If your productivity increases, I don't think anyone will mind if you focus on certain tasks for a period of time. Thanks for commenting.
