I was a HORSE crazy kid. Just ask my parents. At age 4 I started begging for a horse. I got a riding lesson here or there, and a week or two at summer camp with my aunt, who grew up on a ranch and took us riding the “dude string” horses, but that was […]

I too am a horse crazy person. I have always loved animals. I, myself, wish to have a horase of my own, but I guess you can't always get what you want.

At some point, Facebook will fail -- or it will have to change the way it treats fan pages/small businesses.

A couple years ago the “Occupy Movement” camped out and played bongo drums protesting Wall Street’s “Wealthy 1%” Their gripes were the sort of emotionally charged, rich-versus-poor stuff the media loves. Pan to a shot of a bearded pot smoker demanding someone pay off his student loans because nobody values his degree in Egyptian Art Studies.I see a different 1% under attack, and it’s equally absurd. I’m talking about farmers.Yes, farmers are just...

Introduction
I'm just a girl. Who's been swept off her feet, and stolen out of Texas to live on a ranch. An 8500 acre ranch on a Reservation. We raise Black Angus Cattle and Registered American Quarter horses. We're In the Middle of Nowhere, South Dakota. :-)  Seriously. Our closest neighbor is 5 miles away!  I train barrel horses for a living.  I like all things girlie. But you can usually find me in pink-topped ML Leddy cowboy boots nearly everyday. I have dirt under my perpetually painted fingernails. I'm surrounded by a beautiful river, tall grass, and horses (right now there's lots of snow too!). I have one boyfriend, 2 dogs, 1 cat, and soon a dozen chickens! Together, we have about 100 horses and 300 mama cows! I love my life!

WORST ONLINE CUSTOMER SERVICE on the planet. I ordered light fixtures online in MARCH of 2014, and never received them. They tell me a year later, they're shipping them via FedEX and they do -- To an address in Michigan. I live in South Dakota. Nice.

As far as time-shares go, this is on the bottom end of the stick as far as I'm concerned. The service was horrendous, the room itself is fine, but is old, out-dated and doesn't have a fully furnished kitchen. If you wanted to come stay for a full week and cook say Christmas dinner, you'd have trouble. There's not extra glasses, or such and if you want to run the dishwasher, great, but once you run out of toilet paper, or dishwashing soap you better get out the wallet b/c they're charging you. I've never run into that before. They should have at least 8 place settings (8 of everything) and there's not. Oh and the wi-fi- it's a JOKE. The couch sucks, and the sleeper sofa is really terrible. There's not enough places for four people to sit in the condo that "sleeps" four. The kitchen table is the size of the postage stamp. You couldn't come in from the day and take a nap if two folks wanted to do so, b/c the couch sucks. No Flat Screen tv, no dvd player, two barstools when there should be three. The ONLY positive is that it's close to Terry Peak. Like within walking distance close. We called at 3:30 today to get an extra blanket -3 hours later it's still NOT here. If you want to stay close to the mountain and don't intend to cook, rock on, but if you intend to bring your family and budget for this trip, you might look elsewhere. If we weren't already RCI members, I'd never stay here again. This is the poorest RCI resort I've ever been at. SUPER disappointed.
