I began as a publicist and returned to school for photography. Today I use all these skills as I move back and forth between writing, interviewing and shooting. My clients include: The Advocate, Jane, LA Confidential, Gotham, The Montecito Journal and Fit Yoga Magazines, as well as advertising for Citibank, Maytag, MTV, Yahoo and Women’s Entertainment Network.
I have also written profiles and travel stories and product reviews for SheWired, Female FYI and Echelon. I pen and shoot a weekly column in Noozhawk.com, featuring interesting Santa Barbara locals.
I'm authored a book called Success by Design:
Revealing Profiles of California Architects in 2011. For the project I interviewed and photographed 29 leading architects about their beginnings, mentors, first clients, recession strategies and lessons learned. It's available in stores and online.
