We put the 'expert' label on way too many people in this space, and we tend to shutdown communication far too quickly in their presence.
This industry moves too fast for there to be "experts". I've been babbling that like a little old lady for a year now. Of coursesays it perfectly. ;)
Thanks Jen! In short, I put more credence on people that understand how and WHY people use the tools, versus those that understand the tools themselves. The technology is important, but its understanding what we do with it and for what reasons that's more valuable knowledge, IMO.
