+Dana Nutter The ads on the Kindle are so unobtrusive one almost fails to notice them. They appear only on the screen saver and sometimes on the very bottom of the home screen. You can also load your own media onto the Kindle via email or USB connection with your PC. Before I got a tablet to read my RPG PDFs on, I loaded several of them on the Kindle. It also reads unprotected mobi files. I've never really seen an e-ink device that is a satisfactory PDF viewer, however.
