If you are a Small Business you better be ready for big changes in Search Engine Marketing in 2014. Over the past several years, Google sent a very stern message to Business owners and SEO specialists. Guess what? They are changing the rules again in 2014.

3. Social Presence - You must now focus on building your own local communities and interacting with them. Google looks at social signals more than ever and just posting content is not enough if nobody is sharing your stuff!!
Is Search Engine Optimization SEO DEAD?
I have been involved with SEO for 17 years and I have heard that statement on numerous occasions. SEO continues to evolve. What worked last year may not work this year.
I will say this, Google is never going to stop redefining what is okay and what is spam.
Over the years, I have learned one thing about Google, they really do not care about your small business! Let's face it, they are a 'for profit search engine', and make their money selling Adwords.
If they could make organic listings go away they would, so why should they help you get a top ranking for free?
SEO is NOT DEAD! Just redefined again! Make sure whoever is currently doing your small business SEO is ahead of the Google curve and poised to help you grow in 2014!
