Tesla's Failure to Announce A Partner For Their MEGA Battery Plant Is Punishing Outlook For The Company

#TL
Why hasn't Tesla announced a partner yet for its much vaunted gigafactory?  The question is beginning to be asked, and not just by investors. Tesla's share price has underperformed the market by a wide margin since it unveiled its plans to build the world's biggest lithium-ion battery factory on Feb 26.  Although, to be fair,...

I read partner as customer/market. I think if that were in hand, the rest would fall into place. Would one of the the major makers be willing to have "Powered by Tesla" on their product?

My question to them remains: are you in the business of making increasing anonymous rolling sculptures, same form factor and capacity, or are you making personal transportation solutions that acknowledge that the world has changed since 1955? Do we need 5 passenger cars with 200 miles of range everyday? Or could we have commuter cars and weekend/adventure cars, designed and powered and perhaps controlled differently? While Ford and GM spend millions of cupholders and chrome, there are bigger problems to be solved.

+Richard Healy I don't Honestly think that any culture views their human life as cheaper than dirt, it was just poor understanding of the bigger picture and weak industrial oversight

Proven, Innovative Leader
Introduction
I am a Proven, Innovative leader with a successful  track record of building better businesses via accelerated growth, global expansion, new business models, strategic alliances, and sustained competitive advantage.  I've created over $1B of shareholder value during my 25 year career at General Electric, AGY and Evonik.

I help my teams develop creative ideas and then inspire them around a compelling future state vision which fuels their confidence and thus motivates the long march towards successful execution.

Think it Up, Plan it Out, Get it Done.  Don't worry if it hasn't been done (yet).

I carry an American passport, but have a global brain and have proven successful as a trusted business partner in a variety of cultures, including multiple experiences building businesses in China, Japan, and Taiwan. I lived in Japan for several years and have spent significant time in China.

I'm a dedicated husband and father committed to strong family connections.  My passions outside of work include kiteboarding, stand-up paddlesurfing, surfing, road and mountain biking, and interesting music.

My Google+ Stance:  I'm here to share and to learn.  I'm not here to win some game with a score.  I will frequently circle back anyone who circles me that A) Has a profile and B) at least a few public posts with some content, and engages with me somehow in my stream.
