To start, I'm going to explain what I believe is the most important concept in LINQ; deferred execution. So, what is deferred execution? Deferred execution code is not executed until the result is needed; the execution is put off (deferred) until later. By doing this we can combine a series of ...

We all employ stereotypes to generalise groups of people. Often, a stereotype fills a gap between one cultural experience and another, making assumptions about others to provide an easy answer as to why others are different. It is not a particularly constructive approach to cultural differences, ...

We had a great time visiting England and seeing friends and family. Here are some highlights.

Hi Jeff, could I stop by to chat about computers for a bit later. I need to get a new one and could use some advice.

Today's //Build conference makes this vision so close. It's amazing.

The ability for commentators to apply logical fallacies to dismiss the general message of this video is impressive. Though this is not perfect nor comprehensive, though it does not discuss in depth how we might go about being inclusive, though it does not discuss why it is important to see each other as individuals including our culture, race, gender, and other aspects as part of our identity, it still gets across the message that we should at least recognise our humanity first, before judging and dismissing one another. For what it is, it is touching, heart-warming, and thought-provoking.

Green charcoal is a carbon neutral cooking fuel that is made from renewable biomass waste like sugarcane waste, coffee husks and rice husks. Learn more. Why-micro-franchising? Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; show him how to catch fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Great location downtown close to the River Walk, Alamo, convention centre, and Rivercenter Mall. Really helpful staff (David on the Concierge desk was awesome). The bar is big with lots of comfortable seating, and the Ruth's Chris downstairs is convenient for some upmarket dining. If that's too pricey, there are lots of nearby food options. We had a room on the top floor with a king size bed. The bed was a tad too firm for us, but the room was a good size and clean. Furniture had nicks and scrapes suggesting it had been in place for 5-10 years already. The room included a working fridge and Starbucks coffee. Bathroom was contemporary and spacious. Closet door was heavy and seemed like an afterthought. View was OK; overlooked the roof of the convention centre and construction, which woke us up in the morning.

We met with Shirley Bavonese on roughly a weekly basis (though our vacations/travels sometimes interfered with that). Shirley is easy to talk to and creates a very comfortable environment in which to talk things through. The approaches to communication that we learned have been invaluable in resolving conflict, feeling more connected, and understanding one another. In addition, the office staff I spoke with regarding appointments and billing were also helpful and professional. Both my wife and I would recommend Shirley and the Relationship Institute to anyone in need of couples counseling.

Andrew was able to fit us in the day after we contacted Load Side Electric. He was fast, diligent, and communicated clearly when responding to questions or describing the issue. After investigating our problem (the outlets in our kitchen weren't functioning) and discovering it to be a damaged GFCI (most likely caused by a loose connection), Andrew replaced the GFCI for us. All in all, excellent service.
