Wolfram announces 'most important' project: a programming language that models the world

The power of Wolfram Alpha — the intelligent search engine that can answer natural language questions and solve complex math problems — is being built into an upcoming programming language that its founder, Stephen Wolfram, says will be incredibly easy to use. The language, Wolfram writes, is "a way to go from an idea to a fully deployed realization in an absurdly short time." It's called Wolfram Language, and it's an evolution of what's been used inside of his company Wolfram's popular Mathematica software for over 25 years now.

Good art. Over 500 volunteers rake images of 9,000 fallen humans into the beaches of Normandy to commemorate Peace Day -- or what happens without peace. 9,000 was the number of civilians and soldiers from both sides that died during the D-day landings.  When the artwork is done, the fallen are washed into the sea.

Perfect side trip for the Olympics in 2020 - awesome quote: "where you can enjoy watching marine mammals while tasting various marine products, including whale and dolphin meat”

I`ve got a monkey for her:
"MONKEY FRAUD: A Battle Creek woman, 25, lost about $350 trying to buy a monkey from the central African country of Cameroon. The woman contacted police about 3:59 p.m. Tuesday and said she and her roommate were looking for a pet and decided on a monkey. They began looking and found a website and was sent pictures and information about monkeys. She was told the monkey would cost $350 but she could have it for $50. She sent the money but no monkey arrived. She had more contact and sent first $200 and then $100 but still had no monkey and the contact wanted more money for a cage, license and shots. Police are still trying to gather contact information but told the woman the incident is likely a scam and she probably won’t get her money or her monkey."

Passwords are passé.
We should be using something you know, something you have & something you are. A pin, a card or dongle & biometrics.
Crackers tap new sources to uncover "givemelibertyorgivemedeath" and other phrases.

Hardly any tornados here in Japan...but we do have quakes, typhoons, tsunamis and Godzilla.

Data nerds, these are some of the best infographics around. Enjoy!
