It starts tomorrow with training classes and runs thru Thursday with great content, speakers and sponsors.
Who will I see there?
Take a look, let me know what you think. Especially about the last point.
Sometimes just speeding up the production is not enough and not the right way to increase production. It certainly not always the way to increase yield, quality or employee longevity.
Which is why I was really happy to hear someone on the national news the other day mention Taylorism. (Even though I'm not sure they knew what it meant).
There's still time to plan a Perfect Working Vacation. I wrote this for U.S. News and World Report and I hope you'll be able to put some of these points good use (or already have).
This is a #TBT --- I have heard several comments that there is no such thing. I beg to differ. I get it that people want to disconnect and should. But, sometimes that not possible. Here are a few tips for making it possible to do both.
Drop a comment about your perfect (working) vacation plans.
Are you in? The simple answer is ... YES!
Do you want to be in? I cannot answer that for you. But, I can tell you there are times you probably do want information about you to be captured.
I can tell you from personal experience ... they are.

I helped found and am on the board of the Social Media Club Seattle. I have helped organize the Twestival Seattle events and I spend a lot of time thinking about how Social affects Businesses and vice-versa.
I am a veteran of the Enterprise Content Management industry. Over the past 20 years I have worked with customers and partners around the world to design, develop and deploy solutions that exactly meet their needs. Currently I am the Director of Strategic Alliances at Winshuttle where we help optimize complex business processes in SAP and Microsoft SharePoint. I have also worked for Microsoft, Kodak, FileNet (IBM), K2, Captaris, Open Text, and Kofax. I travel a lot, as well as speak and write about ECM and the intersection of Social, Mobile and Cloud Computing and how companies are putting these tools to work in their businesses.
In my spare time I like to get out and ride my Mtn Bike, Wake Surf, ride my Stand Up Paddle (SUP) board, and spend time watching and helping our kids in all of their endeavors.
