Talk to your spouse about life insurance today.  Might be the most important conversation you've ever had.

Nobody wants to be a Debbie Downer. I get that. But sometimes, it’s important to talk with your spouse about the inevitable. Like, say, death (insert dramatic chords here). As much as I’d love to believe I’m an immortal man, unaffected by freak accidents and the second law of...

There are all kinds of “ten best” lists, to rank the best of everything in the world. Though there are usually subjective factors that determine what any of us think about a life insurance company, Insure.com has put together a list of the 14 top life insurance companies in the US. Their...

*****CUSTOMER SERVICE BEWARE**** If you looked up "good customer service" on the web, you would NOT find B & B Golf Carts anywhere close. Initially, we had no issues. We purchased the cart (a 2008 model), they delivered it, and we were on our way. FIRST ISSUE Within a few days we noticed that one of the seat belt connectors had been installed backwards. A bit of inconvenience, but no big deal. SECOND ISSUE About 3 weeks after purchasing the cart one of our neighbors noticed that our back tire was wobbling as we were driving off. Upon further inspection, we noticed, not one BUT two lug nuts were missing. Keep in mind that we had put very little mileage on the cart and had only driven on the local roads in our subdivision, this was a shock and very alarming. We called B&B immediately and they offered to give us lug nuts. We just had to drive to their location. As a fellow business owner, I would never make a client drive out of their way for something that I potentially messed up, but whatever. I drove down there during business hours to get the replacements. The gentleman (assume the father) was very kind but cautioned that I probably wouldn't have the tool to put the lug nuts on properly. Upon returning home that was the case and had it not been for a neighbor who had the right tool, I'm not sure what we would have done. THIRD ISSUE Anyway, we think all is good in the world and we continue to ride the cart. About two weeks later as my wife is driving the cart to our sons football practice, the cart seems to be losing power. Long story short, the cart dies and has to pushed home. We later find that the charger wasn't working. My wife had assumed that the cart was charging some when it was plugged in but never received full charge (it was blinking red). She wasn't concerned and never informed me about until the cart died. Another neighbor had a charger and we were able to get the cart recharged. We called B&B informing them and, once again, they told to bring the charger back to them. My wife returns the charger and the son is very condescending to her implying we must have done something wrong. He exchanges the charger (by grabbing one random one from his garage) and warns her that if something happens to that one we'll have to pay the $100 for the next one. Remember: at this point we've had the cart and charger for JUST over a month. She calls me distraught on the way home and I decide to call the owner (the son). After introducing myself I immediately inquire about the charger explaining we've had it a month. He responds with, "I don't know you from Adam", implying that we somehow did something wrong. He also makes it a point to inform me his father verified the charger worked before they gave it to me and he's 100% certain it was. I quickly respond with, "There's no way you can 100% verify it was working when the 2 lug nuts were installed improperly and one of the seat belts was installed backwards". His only response is that "I made it right, didn't, I?" I pressed more about the charger asking how it's our fault for something that we've owned for just over a month. He once again challenges with, "I don't know you know you from, Adam. How do I know you didn't leave the charger outside?" Not just implying but now blaming us that it's our fault. At this point, I've heard enough. There's a bit more of an exchange and he again tells me if the new (used) charger he gave us doesn't work we'll have to pay the $100 when we come back. Ha! We'll will never go back and will never recommend them to anyone.
