**Breaking News - Ford Motor Company Shanghai, China**

Ford Motor Co. (F) and its joint ventures in China sold 64,641 vehicles in February 2017, up 2 percent compared to February 2016.

Sales of Ford's large SUVs, the Edge and Everest, and the Ford Taurus, continue to grow. Edge sales increased 20 percent in February while Everest sales increased 34 percent. Ford Taurus sales increased 9 percent in February compared to February 2016.

Ford performance vehicles remain popular for Chinese consumers with sales of the Ford Focus ST and RS up 67 percent compared to February 2016, while Ford Mustang sales more than doubled in February.

Monthly sales for Changan Ford Automobile (CAF) totaled 42,695 vehicles, down 12 percent compared to the same time last year.
CAF is rebuilding order banks in the first quarter after the strong close to 2016. Showroom traffic is improving and CAF expects 2017 to continue to strengthen with the launch key new vehicles such as the new EcoSport later this year.
Jiangling Motor sold 20,794 vehicles, a 48 percent increase compared to February 2016.

**Breaking News Ford Motor Company, Dearborn, Michigan**

Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) today announces it is

investing $1 billion during the next five years in Argo AI, an artificial intelligence company, to develop a virtual driver system for the automaker’s autonomous vehicle coming in 2021 – and for potential license to other companies.

Founded by former Google and Uber leaders, Argo AI is bringing together some of the most experienced roboticists and engineers working in autonomy from inside and outside of Ford.

The team of experts in robotics and artificial intelligence is led by Argo AI founders Bryan Salesky, company CEO, and Peter Rander, company COO. Both are alumni of Carnegie Mellon National Robotics Engineering Center and former leaders on the self-driving car teams of Google and Uber, respectively

**Breaking News Ford Motor Company Dearborn, Michigan**

Ford Motor Company’s U.S. retail sales of 120,400 vehicles are up 6 percent in January, while total sales declined 1 percent. Fleet sales of 52,212 vehicles, including daily rental, commercial and government segments, declined 13 percent. The fleet decline reflects a strong year-ago comparison, with fleet customer orders front-loaded at the beginning of 2016.

Ford F-Series sales totaled 57,995 trucks last month, a 13 percent increase, supported by strong retail gains from both F-150 and Super Duty. F-Series was up 19 percent at retail, with gains in every region. January represents the best sales start for F-Series since 2004. “The new year brought strong consumer demand for F-Series, Lincoln and record SUV sales, especially high-end models,” said Mark LaNeve, Ford vice president, U.S. Marketing, Sales and Service.

Retail sales of Ford brand SUVs were up 11 percent last month, driving overall SUV sales up 6 percent, with 53,224 vehicles sold. January marks the best-ever overall start for Ford SUVs.

Lincoln sales totaled 8,785 vehicles in January, the brand’s best start in a decade.

Strong performance from the all-new Lincoln Continental, with 1,167 cars sold, contributed to the brand’s overall 22 percent increase. Additional contributors included Lincoln MKZ with sales of 2,090 sales – up 7 percent – Lincoln MKC with 1,668 sales – a 16 percent gain – and MKX with 2,928 sales – a 43 percent gain.

**Breaking News Ford Motor Company - Dearborn, Michigan**

Building on the all-time record set in 2015, Ford achieved a full-year adjusted pre-tax profit of $10.4 billion, automotive operating margin of 6.7 percent and automotive operating cash flow of $6.4 billion – our second-best results for each metric. Ford also produced a strong full-year operating margin in North America of 9.7 percent, including a record fourth quarter margin of 8.5 percent.
Outside North America, results from Ford's automotive operations nearly doubled versus a year ago. In Asia Pacific, Ford delivered our second-best full-year pre-tax profit of $627 million, and we achieved record full-year performance in Europe with $1.2 billion pre-tax profit and operating margin of 4.2 percent. While business conditions in South America and the Middle East and Africa remained difficult, we saw all key metrics improve in South America in the fourth quarter for the first time since third quarter 2013.
Ford Credit also delivered solid results of $1.9 billion in pre-tax profit.

**Breaking News - Ford Motor Company - Shanghai, China**

In Dec. 2016, Ford along with its Chinese JVs sold more than 150,000 cars in China, up 21% year-on-year, thanks to strong demand for the Ford Edge and Explorer SUVs as well as the Taurus.

F-Series sales totaled 87,512 trucks in December, up 3 percent. Strong retail demand for F-150 and the all-new Super Duty contributed to the best overall sales month for F-Series in 11 years. Ford van sales gained 3 percent in December, totaling 22,302 vehicles, for the company’s best-ever December van performance.

December retail sales of Ford brand SUVs were up 6 percent, driving a 5 percent gain in overall SUV sales, with 68,685 vehicles sold. December was Ford’s best SUV sales month since 2002, with gains coming from Edge, Explorer and Expedition.

Overall, Lincoln sales were up 18 percent for the month, with 12,791 vehicles sold. Strong performance from the all-new Lincoln Continental, with 1,845 cars sold, contributed to a 28 percent increase in December car sales for Lincoln versus a year ago. Lincoln MKX sales of 3,527 vehicles – a 19 percent increase – drove a 13 percent rise in Lincoln SUV sales for December.

Ford brand sales of 2,502,973 vehicles make Ford America’s best-selling brand for seven straight years.

Ford Adding Electrified F-150, Mustang, Transit by 2020 in Major EV Push; Expanded U.S. Plant to Add 700 Jobs to Make EVs, Autonomous Cars

•Ford confirms seven of 13 new global electrified vehicles coming in the next five years, including F-150 Hybrid, Mustang Hybrid and Transit Custom plug-in hybrid

•Ford to launch fully electric SUV with an estimated range of at least 300 miles and two new electrified police vehicles

**Breaking News - Ford Motor Company New Delhi, India**
Ford India today reported an increase of 28.47 per cent in total sales at 14,401 units for December. It had sold 11,209 units in December 2013, Ford India said in a statement.
