Selfie-sticks being banned by museums... Interesting pros and cons.
In a famous lab trial, a chimp named Sultan put two interlocking sticks together and pulled down an elusive prize, a bunch of bananas hanging just out of arm's reach. Nearly a century later, eager tourists have conducted their own version of the experiment. Equipped with the camera extender ...

I'm excited to announce the first $1k grant from Awesome Food. I gotta say, calling someone and telling them that we think their idea is awesome and are giving them a thousand dollars is even more fun than it sounds. :)

I don't know if you guys can read Japanese, but I think they might have meant to say "the most prestigious porno magazine in Japan" instead. I mean, that's absolutely FILTHY stuff. Or I assume it would turn out to be, if I knew how to read Japanese.

I use food to teach people science. When not in the kitchen, I use technology to make organizations more awesome.
Introduction
I love food and I love science. And what better way to teach science than by using food? My book, Cooking for Geeks, uses science to explain what happens when we cook.

When I'm not in the kitchen, I help tech startups and small businesses with their technology. I also volunteer for a number of non-profit and educational causes.
