I wish I were creative in this capacity. I guess I could start attempting to illustrate. It's never too late to learn new skills.

Flat Iron Steak

Marinated Asparagus/Carrot Salad with Toasted Hazelnuts/Grizzly Gouda

If I ever see a flat iron steak again, mine!! Tender, juicy, flavourful!!! Pan seared, a little salt, done! The other half is in the fridge, waiting to be cooked tomorrow.

I like this asparagus raw, really delicious. I made a vinaigrette using lime juice/honey/olive oil/rice vinegar. Some toasted hazelnuts for crunch and aged gouda for the salty edge. Not bad, I enjoyed, my son, wasn't his fav.

Baatara Gorge waterfall
Photo via flickr.com

The Baatara gorge sinkhole (Balaa gorge waterfall) is a waterfall in the Tannourine, Lebanon.

The waterfall drops 255 metres (837 ft) into the Baatara Pothole, a cave of Jurassic limestone located on the Lebanon Mountain Trail.

Discovered in 1952 by French bio-speleologist Henri Coiffait,[4] the waterfall and accompanying sinkhole were fully mapped in the 1980s by the Spéléo club du Liban. The cave is also known as the "Cave of the Three Bridges." Traveling from Laklouk to Tannourine one passes the village of Balaa, and the "Three Bridges Chasm" (in French "Gouffre des Trois Ponts") is a five-minute journey into the valley below where one sees three natural bridges, rising one above the other and overhanging a chasm descending into Mount Lebanon. During the spring melt, a 90–100-metre (300–330 ft) cascade falls behind the three bridges and then down into the 250-metre (820 ft) chasm. A 1988 fluorescent dye test demonstrated that the water emerged at the spring of Dalleh in Mgharet al-Ghaouaghir.

This is the main reason I love Google so much. #design matters
Google's transformation into a company that creates beautiful software is the story of how tech itself has evolved in the mobile era.

Work
Occupation
I'm the Creative Director at +Level9Studios, my boutique web design shop, half of the band Last Meltdown. Right now I'm working on a few projects, one with Generationally Relevant Media, Inc. called The Different Network, and another one of my own called Swap Shop Nation, I'm pretty stoked about it.
Skills
Oh wow, umm... I type really fast and accurate. I'm not sure why I'm about to list this as a skill but I feel it's come to that, I have a firm grasp of English... I'm a web programmer/designer (I'm better at design and that's also what I prefer to do). I'm an identity designer, logos, portfolios, books...that sort of stuff. I write music, my band's name is Last Meltdown. There's so much more to list here, if you're interested in having me do something for you or you're just curious, add me to a circle or message me. I don't bite, mainly because people don't really take hygiene seriously anymore, and I probably won't like the way you taste.
Employment
  • Level 9
    Creative Director, 2009 - present
Level 9 started after I began work for a local business man. I was creating DVD sets for a monthly subscription service called Generationally Relevant Media (I didn't come up with the name). We started Level 9 together and now it's all mine, I have been building local business's identities ever since.

  • Plasma Biological
    Phlebotimist, 2009 - 2009
I stuck sharp things into people and made them bleed into a machine. Yeah, it was gross. No, I never killed anyone.
  • Bredeaux Pizza

I hated delivering pizza and while I was working here my car's engine exploded.
  • A couple server jobs and Best Buy
    2006 - 2007
  • Dominos Pizza
    Delivery Driver, 2012 - 2012
I forgot how much I hated delivering pizzas, so I thought I'd try again. Turns out, I still hated delivering pizza.

Story
Tagline
Quirky, quick and I keep my tongue firmly planted in my cheek.
Introduction
I'm Jeff Peak from St. Joseph, MO. I went to high school at Central, started college at MWSU. I like grapes, but I like wine better. However, a good brandy is close behind my taste for wine. Right now I'm working on a couple web projects as well as running my web and print design firm in downtown St. Joe. I also own Piatto. An upscale contemporary Italian restaurant in St. Joseph. Someday I hope to make it a chain and feel the brand is strong enough to make it happen. Eventually I'd like to open my own cocktail lounge and contemporary-urban restaurant. I'd also like to turn my web projects into job producing corporations. #SwapShopNation and #DowntownDifferent are going to be big, hopefully.
Bragging rights
Pretty good singer, pianist, cocktail artist, web programmer, communications designer, car enthusiast, and a pretty big computer and gadget nerd.

It's a Starbucks. Nothing much to say. However, their floor is dirty and the furniture is sticky. Burned out light bulbs, sticky handprints on the front of the baristas' counter, jug of half and half is left out on the cream and sugar cart, no idea how long it's been there, its warm to the touch. Barista rolled eyes at customer ordering a drink! Bathroom smells bad. Typical of a non-seattle or NYC Starbucks location.
