Caught this on Sirius Real Jazz last night, really dig it. Great arrangement of a classic tune, perfect for steamy summer nights.

Guess who's been watching the 1966 #batman series with his kids. Here's the #Joker, #prismacolor pencils in black paper. #CesarRomero

I think a large portion of the population deliberately staring off into space is an extremely healthy thing. Let's do it more often.
M-O-O-N that spells celestial body.
The pic is the best I could do with a kit lens and Somerville light pollution. M-O-O-N that spells I need expensive lenses.

Ronnie James Dio's Sacred Heart album turns 30 today.
I'm celebrating by re-posting this story I wrote back in 2010, a few days after Dio passed away. If you wanna do a little heavy metal time traveling, read on...https://medium.com/@jmillerboston/ronnie-james-dio-and-the-keys-to-the-city-6d4d6dbebf0e

My favorite vid from this years #porchfest  in Somerville, MA.
A buddy of mine said we successfully combined +Van Halen  with +Billy Joel . I take that as a huge win.

I don't often revisit my resume (who can be bothered?), but when I do, I make sure there are guitars involved. For a better look, feel free to download the PDF here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12787715/jeff-miller-res-2015.pdf

Dunno about you, but I have lots of feelings about Nimoy/Spock. Pretty much had to drop everything for a few minutes and get em out. here they are.

"Following Speedy on The Beam," a recent drawing with the Prismacolors. Stephen King/Dark Tower nerds take note.

First of all, let me address reviewers who are complaining about the owners at Performance Music Center: my experience and takeaways couldn't be more different. Consider this: Target locks any and all electronics over $30 in glass cases. You can look but you can't touch. If I sold guitars for a living, and had, say, $40,000 worth of them hanging unprotected on a wall, you can bet your ass I'd be paying attention to who was handling the merch. I'm guessing if they had a problem with this guy or his "adult" son touching the guitars, there was a very good reason. As for me, I couldn't be happier with the way I was treated as a first-time customer. I had contacted them via email because they are one of two G&L dealers in the Boston area. I had several questions about a custom build that Joe and Paul were kind enough to answer - we probably emailed 5-6 times, and they were always quick to reply. When I finally made my way out there, Joe gave me a quick tour of the different models he had in stock so that I could be sure about the features I wanted on my guitar. From there I proceeded to demo 4 different guitars - amplified, with no complaint - for about an 40 minutes. After that, I had more questions. Not only was Joe extremely knowledgeable about his products, he made some critical recommendations that had a big impact on the build. Furthermore, he's got a generous personality; the guy's an enthusiast and that's clearly why he's in the business. I'll be going back to PMC any time I want to try before I buy...and I'll buy from them again. And if you're in the market for a custom shop G&L, you couldn't pick a better place to go. Joe happened to be at the G&L shop during NAMM week, and he hunted my axe down and posted pictures on site! My guitar was ready ahead of schedule, and I couldn't be happier with it. If you're a real customer, don't hesitate or listen to the complaints of random mental defectives. I'm a real customer who spent real money - and these guys were great to work with. Highly recommend.
