These are both La Aurora Preferidos Maduro 5 x 54, but the bands are different. Does anybody know if this is just a case of a newer band on the five pack?
I thought maybe the single might be a Ruby Tubo, but I received it as a free stick and it did not come in a tube.

It looks like the Ruby tubos have 'Ruby' on the band, but otherwise are the same as the Preferidos Maduro that say 'Maduro' on the band. As long as the blend is the same I'm happy because the one I smoked was Delicious.
I picked up the 5-pack from Corona during their weekend sale. Got them for $27 after the 10% discount and it included free shipping. They're still on sale for $30 with free shipping. Best price I've seen anywhere on this stick.

So far this is good, but I'm finding it likes to be smoked slow.

This Serie R got better when I paired it with a NYF's Root Beer.

+Jeff Madre Dang! Is the Bomb! Seriously, if you love cream soda and love the taste of a sweet caramel butterscotch, this is worth a try. I never have paired it up with a smoke. I drank them up before I had a chance to smoke, or I had company and I shared. My next BevMo run I'm going to save them for my smoking experience.

Call me impressed with the My Father Le Bijou 1922! The ash dropped a couple of minutes after this shot.

My first 5-pack purchase, La Aurora Preferidos Maduro #2. I received one earlier this year as an extra when I ordered a sampler from Smoke Inn. It paired nicely with Cuban coffee. I'm looking forward to enjoying these soon.

You can barely taste the beer. It is a sweet and flavorful root beer with very little beer taste. You could get messed up on this stuff pretty easily.
