Every good spy story needs a sequel. So in the wake of our recent popular gallery of CIA spy tools we offer Part Deux, which expands the gallery to include tradecraft tools from the former Soviet bloc, all courtesy of the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C.

Portal title: SLO Rotary Bridge
City, region, country: San Luis Obispo, California, USA
Lat/Lon: 35.281804, -120.6570903
Appeal category: New submissions appeal

Reason/comments: Rejected because it's either a duplicate or too close.  As you can see in the attached screen captures, the nearest portal is about 350 feet away.  This proposed portal is marking a very convenient pedestrian bridge linking a large office building with downtown shops and restaurants and promotes walking and exploring the beautiful creek setting.

Please reconsider.  Thank you.

Portal title: Lincoln Market and Deli
City, region, country: San Luis Obispo, California, USA
Lat/Lon: 35.2848034,-120.6686596
Appeal category: New submissions appeal

Reason/comments:
This is a one-of-a-kind deli and market,  established in 1941 and located in the heart of an older neighborhood in SLO and surrounded by residential development.  Neighborhood markets are generally not allowed because modern planning land use codes have made it illegal.  This market is testimony to a time when people would walk to the grocery store instead of having to drive.

 How to pack your pack.
Don't be this guy. Carrying a backpack so large that it extends over your head and outside the width of your back makes for a long, arduous day on the trail. Instead, choose what you need wisely, then pack the bag efficiently for a lighter, more comfortable load. Here's how.

It's been YEARS since I've been to an Olive Garden. Maybe it's my nostalgia, maybe it's my experience, maybe it's my desire to share but when I took my kids there I was a bit disappointed in the flavor of the food. The service was stellar. Our waiter was Johnny-On-The-Spot and very pleasant. but the food... The food was, in my opinion, over priced for what you get. It was too salty and was reminiscent of a buffett. A decent buffet, but a buffet none the less. At upwards of $20 a plate I think I'll steer clear in the future and just hold on to my better memories.

The chips and salsa are really good. I had the veggie burrito which was fine although they didn't have black beans.

I don't know what it is about counting to 13 for the folks at Panera. They can get to 12 alright though. Whenever I go in to get a bakers dozen of bagels I almost always get stiffed the bakers 13th bagel. I have gone back a few times now to get the last one from that baker. They are always super nice to me when i go back but since it happens so often I think there is a directive or policy or something that's just not right coming from the top. The bagels are good though. Really good.

Their Monterey St Pale Ale is the best beer I have ever had and their double IPA will destroy you with its powerful flavor and even more powerful kick. I consider myself lucky to live in the same city and have this beer close by.

The owners of this chain store support a right wing political and social agenda of cutting taxes for the rich, spending more on our military and cutting social programs and blaming immigrants for societal ills. I have stopped shopping here because of this.
