most excellent day in Oakhurst today. Cool breeze after the rain cleared the air and all you could smell were the pine trees. A few sprinkles and rays of sun throughout the afternoon.

+Richard Bane, we're you there for this? I'm sure there would have been some great pictures out of it.

The car my neighbor is trying to sell this Mercedes. She states it is a 1971 but not 100% as I am trying to get the VIN number to research it. If anyone can help out with a finding what a good price is, a new owner, or a place to sell; she would be grateful. I have +Richard Bane helping out but if anyone else has any other resources please let me know. Thank you!!

Her father was the second owner as far as she knows, has 42,414 miles and parked in the garage except when driven.

The Shark Sleeping Bag

Look like a corpse from the movie Jaws every time you go to sleep at night with this shark sleeping bag. Scare the crap out of anyone who ever walks in on you sleeping at night.

Great skillet breakfast we had. Potatoes, bacon, cheese and perfectly cooked eggs. Service was awesome; ambience was good, will be going back to try those sour cream pancakes!

Excellent service! Thorough inspection and reporting emailed within 24 hours for me. Handy little 'how-to' videos emailed; handy for first time home owners. Would use them again if needed.

Food was excellent, ambience was good, service was not so good. Plenty of beer on tap too. Would give a 3.5 if possible.

Food and wait server were fantastic but it was all the other non food things that turns me off of this place. 1. They share a wall with a nail saloon, the smell was over powering inside the bistro and had to move outside. They only had 2 table with 3 chairs at each. 2. To many tables inside leaves no room to walk around comfortably. There weren't too many people inside but if it was busy, forget about it. 3. Drinks served in a 'to-go' cup with wait service and the server had take your cup for refills since the drinks were behind the counter. 4. Wasteful quantity of food; there were 2 of us and ordered the only size basket of fries. It was 3 lbs of fries! we couldn't even finish 1/2 of it; waste of money and food! I don't know about their other items but it is served a la carte so you if you want a side with your sandwich you have no choice in what size you get. You won't be disappointed with the hamburgers as they were delicious.

Wow, excellent gelato! Flavors were awesome. Small place, so be ready for it to be a little crowded.

The was a great family experience! ALL of the people working in the park were VERY polite and helpful! And, it was VERY clean! They have a great crew employed there, starting with Customer Relations. The staff was very informative regarding the animals and the safety precautions taken before a ride began was very comforting. We were there on Friday, May 17 - which was a 'school kid day' and arrived early, but not early enough. The 'security' area took quite some time and kids kept cutting in front of us. Many of those school kids were rude and did show off their tattoos once there were in the park (which was supposed to be 'against the park rules'). We just tried to stay out of their way. Perhaps those days when the schools are there for the day, the park should be closed to the public. Overlooking that part of the experience, the day was a lot of fun for our family. We had three generations visiting and really enjoyed the rides for the small children and the animals. Thank you.
