Pete Cashmore has a great take here on posting to social networks, and tailoring content to that network - there are certainly things that I post to twitter that I don't post to FB and vice versa - still trying to figure out exactly what makes the most sense to post in the plus -

I see there are now a few ways to post to Google+ and other social networks at the same time.

The question is, should you? I'm a big fan of tailoring updates to the individual communities -- at Mashable most of our updates are done manually since different groups have different interests. On Facebook, for instance, people don't like to receive a high volume of updates, but on Twitter the volume is easier to handle.

I think it's cool to cross-post updates that are relevant to your friends on multiple sites, but to cross-post everything might be overkill. How about you?
