Here's video of my appearance on Howard Kurtz' Reliable Sources regarding the death of Newsweek (in print), following Tina Brown.
Amazingly, Brown -- the princess of print -- confessed that she no longer goes to newsstands (neither do I). She also said that Newsweek subscriptions would be transferred over to the paid tablet app -- which, I think, explains why they are even bothering: to deal with the liability of unfilled subscriptions.
And I like reading online but I still prefer to sit down with a proper newspaper in the mornings. I don't know what it is but there just seems to be more in it and more worth reading. Maybe I'm just old.
