Are you sure this isn't how it is?!

No idea why this is so funny, but every time I watch it I can't help but laugh.

Best Birthday Ever
To those who were hoping to give me the best birthday present, I'm sorry.  You were beaten before you got up this morning.  +Maggie Meyer  made me Hot Dog Casserole. And completely without my knowledge.  And she had it ready for breakfast.  For those uninitiated, Hot Dog Casserole(as the name might suggest) is the best food ever.  It is traditionally served for dinner, but works for any meal, or little snack, or dessert.  Yet some people, my wonderful wife not least, can't handle the magnitude of how delicious it is and as a result they don't want to eat it. Or smell it.  Or look at it.  Ever.  So you can imagine my surprise when she very secretly made it for me.
Thanks Maggie!

1000 mile range electric Heliplanemobile.  Cruising speed over 300 MPH.

They need to actually build this, and then we need to get one for Dad.

Then he can come pick us up and the kids can be and grandma and grandpas in a half hour.

Kittens
Leah and +Maggie Jansen  had a kitten weekend at mom and dad's.  They have a new 3 week old and +Katie Jansen Larson has a new 6 week old that she brought. We had to keep Leah from loving them to asphyxiation, but otherwise she did really well.  Maggie couldn't really get them to stay awake, but I think she prefers it that way anyway.

I love rube Goldberg machines.  This is more of a hybrid, but I think I might like it even better.

Awesome pizza. It's a good break from the the mostly similar pizza places in St. Louis. I don't really like to call it Chicago style. It's similar, but not the same. But it is certainly really thick with lots of sauce, meat, and cheese. It takes a long time to make, but that just means you have to plan ahead. The pub portion of this place is very much a dive. It's dark, it's small, and it's homey. It's great if you like that sort of thing. We just pick up our pizza and take it home.
