How to DISABLE What's Hot
Are you tired of seeing random garbage from strangers in your G+ feed? Do you wonder WHY some stupid post from some stupid cartoon detective that you don't care about keeps popping up in your home stream?

You likely have your G+ settings set to show you "what's hot" in your home stream. You are free to turn that feature up, down, or...best yet...OFF

1. Across the top of your home stream, click EXPLORE
2. Then click "what's hot"
3. Click the settings button
4. De-select "show posts in home stream"

The default is for you to see a "standard" amount of random stuff from strangers in your home stream. You can turn that up, down, or off.

I turned it off a very long time ago, and I'm much happier.

I didn't realize people like this still existed. You should go look at the page. It's funny. Really funny.

I POSTED THIS FAKE CGI PIC OF NASA'S 2105 BALL EARTH BEFORE, BUT THIS ONE IS NOT HIGHLIGHTED.

THIS ONE I JUST CAPTURED FROM GOOGLE AND FROM NASA IMAGES OFF GOOGLE.

THIS IS THE LATEST 2015 "SUPPOSED" IMAGE TAKEN OF EARTH FROM FROM SPACE AND IS THE MOST INFAMOUS ONE BECAUSE THE FREEMASON'S WHO WORSHIP LUCIFER AND ARE OBSESSED WITH SEX ACTUALLY TO MOCK EVERYONE (ALL THE SHEEPLE) PLACED THE LETTERS  S  E  X   (THE WORD SEX) ON TO THE CGI / PAINTING / FAKE PIC.

CLEARLY VISIBLE IN THE BOTTOM LEFT HAND CORNER OF THE FAKE EARTH PIC CARE OF DISNEY.

OKAY GLOBE HEADS - PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW 3 LETTERS THAT SPELL OUT A WORD (SEX) CAN BE SEEN IN THE (FAKE) CLOUDS ON THIS FAKE IMAGE OF EARTH????

HUH???

COME ON, TELL ME??????

Well I did a Google search and apparently this idea is very wide spread... but I'm wondering; couldn't they all collect some money together, and hire a jet pilot to fly them around the world? And they could follow it on GPS? I mean, all the confusion could be probably be cleared up for about $2,000 and a TomTom.

gun control

a good example of why debating with gun control (ie: gun removal) proponents is futile.

What the hell?? Is it hippie fest in St. Louis?

Please. Someone tell these "artists" that the purpose of singing the National Anthem at a sporting event is the LEAD THE CROWD, not give us your interpretation or show off your ghetto yodeling ability.

The crowd CANNOT follow along if you don't sing it the way it is written. Once again, that was NOT the National Anthem - that was some kind of hippie interpretation of a song that sounded something like the National Anthem.

There's nothing to the "story". No significant number of people are offended by the cup. Drop it.

The outrage over the faux outrage is louder than the latter. We need to drop it. We've been played.

In the last week or so, my Maxx has stopped automatically rotating the screen. Also, active notifications lights up, but doesn't show the actual notification icon like it should.

This seemed to coincide with the recent updates to Assist and Active notifications.

Cool.

Coke's response was so much better than a cease-and-desist lawsuit or something.
This is the way Cola Wars should be fought.

Well, this is frustrating. I administer my local Little League's GameChanger system, so someone else will have to take it up now. I do too much remotely from my phone.

I think their excuses are bunk, but oh well.
We launched our first Android app in April 2011, determined to make GameChanger accessible to as many people as possible.

EDITED SO THAT I DON'T VIOLATE TERMS OF SOME PROJECT I MAY OR MAY NOT BE A PART OF:

I might have gotten something related to the future developement of some aspect of the Droid Maxx. I may be excited about said something.

Thanks to +Punit Soni and all his cohorts at Motorola. I'm loving the Maxx and really loving that the update is coming (relatively) quickly.

That's something I'll try to practice from here on out then. My wife's been trying to get me to do that for a while now though. I do like going against her will for fun, I take my phone a little more seriously.

Introduction
Politically, I'm a libertine conservative.

I have coached Little League since 2008 and have served on the board of directors since 2011. My dad coached Little League and, during my teenage years, he and I basically ran our local league (I was the scorekeeper/groundskeeper). Working with kids has changed my life and I encourage everyone to volunteer in some way.

I like watching Formula 1, college football, college baseball, and the Little League World Series. Most of the pro sports just irritate me.

I like almost every kind of music, especially classic rock and country.

In terms of interests, I'm basically an information junkie.

I eat here often and the experience is always good. I have seen slow service on one occasion, but we filled out the complaint card and got a $25 gift card in the mail. We were polite, but honest with out complaint. However, the food has always been superb. Best in the business. Not cheap, but the best.
