A small brushfire moved quickly at sunset in Okeechobee County, Florida this evening. The gusty winds helped the fire moved quickly to the south-southwest, but the FDOF stepped in and took control within 30-45 minutes. A few homes were threatened.

+Tim Stoecklein thank you, yes a lot different than Co. We're at the peak of our dry season and there is typically a lot of dead vegetation below the palmetto / cabbage palms. Our fire season usually takes place between March and May.

Juno Beach, Florida - Mid to upper 80s temperatures made for a beautiful and inviting beach day along South Florida beaches. It's been a long brutal winter for many across the eastern United States and Midwest states, and Spring breakers will be flooding the beaches very soon to escape the last of Winter. #Florida #BeachScapes #Weather
