“We lived through this 10 years ago,” Jason Ring, the president of the Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau, said from a counter covered in maps and brochures.

“We made our judgment, and the trial came to an end, and locally most people were in support of that,” Mr. Ring said. “Now it’s back — by no choosing or no doing of anyone in this community.”

“So that’s the first point of injustice,” he added. “That we have to live through it again.”

REALLY, Jason Ring? THAT'S the injustice?? You're disgusting.
A reporter goes back to Manitowoc County, Wis., where residents who considered the 10-year-old case settled are being second-guessed about Steven Avery’s return to prison.

The state of Florida is putting kids with heart defects at risk, cardiac doctors say, because of a change in policy that came after contributions to Republicans.

"I think he's a very intelligent guy, and running a country is like running a business. And he knows how to run a business," said Jim Billado, who owns a commercial roofing business.

OK, Jim Billado, you're crazy.
The Republican front-runner stopped in one of the most liberal states in the country for a raucous rally.

That I might end up having to vote for her in the general election is a troubling thought.
If the Hillary Clinton campaign had its way, supporters of Bernie Sanders – whose backing she will obviously want in November should she win the Democratic nomination – would feel that, while Clinton might not be all that they want in a president, she would at least go part of the way there. But if you followed the third debate deep enough into the night, you witnessed, in what stands as the most disingenuous moment of the Democratic race thus ...

"They had to go past the firewall"

That's not how it works... If the firewall is down, you would easily be able to access the files without knowing they were supposed to be behind a firewall. Looking forward to what comes of this lawsuit against the DNC. Hoping they expose what many of us are already sure of, that Debbie Wasserman Schultz is directing the primary the way she wants it to go.

Clearly they are walls of fire and you need to go past them.

Cunninham (the rep from California) is an awful person, and fortunately went to prison for his crimes for 8 years.

From his Wikipedia page: "Charged with conspiracy to commit bribery, mail fraud, wire fraud and tax evasion. After being released from prison, Cunningham pleaded for a gun permit, saying he longed to hunt in Arkansas. The judge denied the request as being beyond the scope of his authority, citing the law that limits gun permits for convicted criminals – a law that Cunningham voted for while in Congress."

Beyond just the headline, this was a great segment. Great to see the media acknowledging Bernie to this extent.

I hope this superintendent and her school district get cited as an example for others facing similar challenges to follow
Through her unconventional focus on addressing poverty, Superintendent Tiffany Anderson has been credited with rapidly improving the school district of Jennings, Mo.

How this racial disparity is still so prevalent boggles my mind
Sarah Furay was called “adorable” and “photogenic” for allegedly selling Ecstasy, cocaine, and weed. Would that have happened to a black girl?

My wife and I enrolled our daughter at this Bright Horizons location almost 2 months ago. We are VERY happy with our experience there. Our daughter (in one of the infant classrooms) has really taken a liking to all the teachers that take care of her. It's clear that they all love the kids so much. I really appreciate how dedicated they are to all the activities they do with the kids. They read stories, go for walks, sing songs, explore different textures, make artwork, etc. It's much more than a daycare; it really is a school. I look forward to getting the email update every afternoon with pictures of what they did that day. We love all the infant teachers, but are particularly partial to Eileen who is so wonderful with our daughter. Soon after we joined, a new director started there named Daniela. She is fantastic and is a great asset to the center.

Knight Moves is a fantastic place. Great selection of board games to play (which the staff will patiently teach you how to play). Dev, the owner, is fantastic; he's super friendly and welcoming, doing whatever he can to make people feel comfortable in his establishment. They also have a good selection of food and beverages, which is really convenient. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, and bring your friends!

The garlic knots are amazing; highly recommended. The pizza is also terrific. One of the ones we got (can't remember the name) had provolone, caramelized onions, and fresh eggs on it. It was absolutely delicious.

Just went to Journeyman for the first time. The food was absolutely amazing. It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for a special occasion.
