The 8- to 10-foot-thick ice that once stretched way out to sea is all but gone. Increasingly powerful storms batter its exposed coastline. A lawsuit seeking damages from fossil fuel companies was refused by the Supreme Court. Now the residents of remote Kivalina, Alaska are now wondering how long they can hold out and if anyone is willing to help them.

This is such B.S. They made $12 billion in profit last year, and they are complaining about R&D costs in the $10 millions.

Beautiful! I guess I should stop complaining about temperatures in the low 50’s.

Dishonest, poor service is what you get here! My story: I had been going to Reliance for work on my diesel truck for several years. Many of the repairs were taking a couple of visits to get done, which I figured was because of the age and aftermarket parts on my truck (at a much better shop now, things get fixed the first time!) The last repair I will ever have done there was a fuel tank drop-and-clean. They broke the fuel gauge inside of the tank so it was stuck on 1/2 full. I didn't realize this, and brought it back twice more to try to figure out why the engine kept stalling out. Finally took it to another shop who charged $800 to drop the tank again and fix the problem. I called several times but Reliance refused to reimburse.

I am new to residential roofing. On a recent drop-in visit, manager Tom Tidmore spent as much time as I needed to explain the differences in shingle type and the roofing process. Top-notch service from a very knowledgeable staff.
