Claim involving occupational asthma following a long-term exposure to mold in the workplace. We represented a City of Decatur police officer who developed severe breathing problems after working for years in the police evidence room.

The case involved complex issues of air quality, long-term exposure to mold and pulmonary problems. We successfully won at trial, obtaining full benefits for a permanent and total disability.

Jennifer McKown is an attorney with a proven track record in winning car accident injury cases at trial. The +Blackwell Law Firm is proud to have her serving our Alabama clients.
Insurance companies and defense lawyers know we will aggressively pursue justice in our cases. When the insurance company says no, our own Jennifer McKown files the case and prepares for trial.

Throughout the year, our law firm participates in a number of Huntsville community activities and projects. During the Christmas season, we have sponsored a tree on downtown Huntsville’s Tinsel Trail.
Annual Tinsel Trail starts today thru January 3 and we are a proud sponsor of a spruce this year. If you see our tree, take a selfie and tag us @huntsville.injury.lawyer!

At the Blackwell Law Firm, we personally write all our articles. We also wrote all the content on our website. We believe authentic voices are important. We want to share genuine information and genuine opinion in our legal specialty of personal injury trial work. Consumers deserve authenticity.

Too many law firms hire ghostwriters or purchase canned content. When people need legal help, they deserve authenticity. In Huntsville, a local billboard law firm is even publishing canned content on its website for practice areas in which that firm’s lawyers have no experience. They are simply seeking clients to refer for a fee. Again, that’s wrong and unjust.

We want a genuine discussion of legal issues. We want to educate and advocate in our legal specialty. We will always push for authenticity in writing.
Writing should be about authentic research, authentic voices and authentic opinions. At all levels, consumers deserve real writing by real authors. http://ow.ly/Fb1630gfWip

Blackwell Law Firm attorney Jennifer McKown was burning the midnight oil to prepare her client’s personal injury case. That’s real dedication when a huge Alabama football fan spends Saturday night working during football season. Fortunately, she was able to watch the game on her computer.
Blackwell Law Firm's preparation, dedication and experience show in each case. We even work through the weekends when needed. #Dedicated #Prepared

Great seminar on Alabama Workers’ Compensation law. Much thanks to David Nomberg of the Nomberg Law Firm in Birmingham for planning the seminar. I enjoyed speaking and listening to the many other lawyers who gave presentations.
Our firm members routinely teach at seminars on topics involving personal injury, workers’ compensation, defective products, experts and trials just as I did last Friday. Learn more about what I presented at the seminar: http://ow.ly/4SOc30fPdLC
