General question, especially to those in marketing, public relations & social media.

Why do people send out a newsletter with events on the day of a special or specific day?

Example: Today is Cinco de Mayo. If you have clients that you represent & send an e-mail out to get more people to your clients place of business, should you:

A) Send it out a few days in advance
B) Send it out the day prior
C) Send it out the morning of said special day

I had the pleasure of checking out some of the food & drink specials for the upcoming event of Flavors of the Avenue on East Passyunk Avenue which will take place April 26th! There are less than 200 tickets left & this event will sell out.

Do agree that she should be suspended for just a week? Suspended longer? Or even fired?

Here is my issue which was stated in this article..
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/04/16/espn-suspends-reporter-britt-mchenry/

This was mentioned...

"You could argue that this was a personal matter and that her employer shouldn't suspend her for it,... She was using her status as an ESPN employee to assist her in her nasty attack on this towing company employee."

Sorry, but in my opinion, I would fire her. She represents ESPN... why would you want anyone to be able to represent your company who acted like this. Yes, I believe in giving 2nd chances, but not to this person. Okay, maybe you send her to counseling & she gets a bad mark and one more chance.

On another note, there are many people who are very successful who never went to college and who are very very smart...

What are your thoughts?
Britt McHenry, a Washington D.C.-based bureau reporter for ESPN, has been suspended one week by the network following the release of a video tape on Thursday in which she is seen berating a towing company worker. “I’m in the news, sweetheart,” says McHenry on the video. “I will f------ sue this place.” In what appears to be an edited tape, the woman at the towing establishment then threatens to play the video of the interaction. McHenry is shown ...

I my office cleaned a few months back and since they did a very good job, I tried them out at my house and have been using since them. I have read a few of the negative comments and haven't experienced any of this. Overall, they have been friendly and have done a very good job. I'll still keep using them and refer them to others.

Bill is a terrific Massachusetts Realtor that I have been involved with in an online Real Estate group for the last five years. I see the kind of online marketing he provides his clients through his blogs and multiple websites. If I was selling my home in the Metrowest Massachusetts area there is no doubt I would want to be speaking with him. You will not find another Realtor that provides the type of online exposure that Bill gives his clients.

Frank's barber shop is almost like Cheers without the beer and liquor. Very friendly people, lots of good conversations, and very good haircuts for a reasonable rate.
