Springtime is grilling time! If you're thinking of grilling tonight, this #cookingtip is or you.

Tomato or sugar-based sauces will burn easily so it should be brushed onto the meat at the end. Once added, turn the meat often to minimize the possibilities of burning.

We may not have a grilled cheese sandwich to celebrate #NationalGrilledCheeseSandwichDay but we have a delicious Grilled Beef Burger with Camembert cheese! How's that for brunch? ;)

Menu
Jeanne & Gaston is a French Bistro with a modern twist that is based on a mix of Godard’s family recipes and traditional French recipes.

Diners can enjoy the wonderful cuisine in the restaurant’s dining hall that has a modern ambiance with a touch of classic French influence, or at the garden patio during the summer months, all the while retaining its casual and classy atmosphere.

I went here for my birthday celebration 11/16/13 with my husband and friends. As food bloger I was blown away by the food, wine, and overall decor of the place. The services was superb and the manager was very pleasant. I see my husband and I coming back again to try out their other delicious dishes. My favorite was the fresh pasta, with calamari in squid ink ( orgasm in mouth) --yes. The wine selection are added bonus. Enjoy.

This replacement for long-time bistro Gavroche adds some new flavors to the traditional French menu. It's a nice environment to dine in, with soothing eclectic music and outstanding service. The $40 prix fixe menu is a steal with 3 choices from the menu that has so many options. I went with the lobster chartreuse, braised lamb with white beans and the refreshing tropical cup for dessert. I am glad there is another homey. comfortable spot here.

what a gem! newly opened and totally redecorated, this restaurant is several steps up from the previous restaurant in this space--and that one wasn't bad. the food is sublime--i've gone several times and never been disappointed. the selections are creative and varied. the prices are very reasonable. but it may be too refined a menu for a somewhat gritty street.

Short ribs were fabulous and we had a fantastic waiter. Only issue was that the tables were a bit cramp and we had two annoying drunk girls next to us.

Tasty but not exceptional bistro food. On a pleasant evening, the garden in back is absolutely delightful. Service was pleasant but a little slow.

"Combination authentic bistro and true local haunt. Great stand-bys like mussels and fries, Soupe à l'oignon, escargot, and superb, if more esoteric, dishes like squab ""cooked two ways"" and ""lobster chartreuse."" The Prix Fixe lets you choose any starter, main and dessert on the menu! "
