Excellent article sur la curation de musique
In the ‘90s, Aby Ngana Diop was the queen of taasu, a practice of ritual poetry performed by female griots in Senegal. Diop’s distinctive vocals made her a sought-after performer at the weddings...

Clearly the next/current big challenge for online music: the battle for genuine and off-the-beaten track content. Our ears will enjoy. Exciting moment for the industry.

Porcupine and North Dome trails seem to be (mostly) the same trail, except that access to the rim (to get a view on the valley) is not clearly indicated. We went off path once close to the rim, but it would be definitely nicer if some (clear) spots were indicated on the maps / by rangers to get access to those awesome views!

Nice little chain, but don't expect to get "regular" coffee here (eg cappuccino, latte etc.). They focus on "frappuccino"-like drinks.

Good food at reasonable prices. Maybe the red curry was not the "best ever" but overall our papaya salad and main dishes were good.

Nice, small secluded beach with a view on the bridge. Good spot for pictures at sunset I think. Beware of sun during the day, as the beach is very exposed. Some trees in the back but then you're far from the beach.

Great campground to explore Big Sur. Most spots are in the shade, with redwoods at the entrance of the campground. Book well in advance as all campgrounds are full for the whole summer!
