Honored to be a featured photographer on the Atlas Photo Blog along with some other very talented photographers. Vicki (the editor) is a lovely woman and I think she did a very nice job with my interview and images. Hope you'll take the time to read it, and be sure to check out the other photographer interviews!

Sam and Frodo

These two young wild stallions were my favorites.  Too old to stay with their moms, they spent most of their time together often defending themselves from stallions with established harems.  With plenty of scars and fresh wounds, these boys were scrappy, especially Sam who didn't shy away from any confrontation including starting a few of his own.

A lamp light casting an angel like pattern across the face of an old garage.  Just because I like to do something different now and then.

Black Rock Desert in Winter, Gerlach, Nevada.

It was still a bit breezy, but some areas around the playa had layers of fog until the sun began to warm things up.  The sun had been up just long enough to highlight this range, with the mountains behind me keeping the playa in shade.  It was one heck of an amazingly quiet morning and as far as I could see, I was the only one there.

Thanks as always for taking the time for a look!
