Introduction
Mr. Jeffrey S. Curl, ASLA CLARB has over 15 years of experience, is a native Floridian, and is extremely familiar with Florida’s vernacular plants, or ‘heritage plants,’ stemming from an early childhood interest spurred by the Florida Ghost Orchid. He witnessed and took part in the Design Process ‘Renaissance,’ such in his native West Palm Beach. Through the utilization of indigenous or low water-demanding plants in his designs, from the onset of Professional Practice, he has ‘trended’ toward the current ‘Green Design’ rationale from an early age. Mr. Curl has successfully-instituted a “Sense of Place” and Sustainable principles into every Design. Current Design, coupled with the Economic consequences of maintenance, has supported his Practice as the overall Economy has constricted and Homeowners/HOA’s look to reduce Monetary exposure.
