Some people refuse to be helped. Others make it easy to go the extra mile for them. Which are you?

I suspect you are both correct. Most people do try to help others... especially when they see them careening towards a cliff. With experience I hope we learn to pause and consider when someone offers us that hand-up.

Don't pass up the opportunity to poke around in places you would not normally be able to visit. This weekend, London opens it's doors.
I'm adding a particular plug to swing by the Byron Masonic Hall in London, ON (Commissioners Rd. just east of Boler Rd.)

A quick but heartfelt thanks to all those who came out to visit the Doors Open sites this past weekend.  A lot of effort went into preparing and staffing these locations and your participation was the reward.

This was truly a wonderful site. Lacking both the stature and awe of Ephesus, Priene is a breath of fresh air which allows you to wander quietly and envision a settlement as was. It's an active dig site with little to keep you away from actually seeing the work being done. Great views, an excellent odeum and calm stateliness await in the shade of the trees.
