Testing the Sony A5100

So I just purchased a Sony A5100 but I couldn't find a 5100 specific community so I joined this one.  This is my first Sony camera, always been a Canon guy (I say always as if I bought so much).  This will be replacing my old XSi.  Anyway, joined this community so that I can hopefully learn more about the Sony cameras and get good tips on how to make the best of this new one.

+Javier Torres I can see both sides of the coin, so I think that would need to be +Iacovos Florides call since it's his community.  [I just realized he made me a moderator, so I was not speaking as a moderator before. ]

The work for running a community is all dependent on how popular it is and how many boneheads that you join and can't follow basic instructions.  Private communities work well for keeping things on target better, but people are probably also less likely to join if it is private.

Anyway, as discussed there should be plenty of applicable things for you here and also the mirrorless community that I mentioned.

Just wanted to share some of the pictures I took yesterday with my Sony A5100.  These were taken at the Milwaukee Domes and for all except the first picture I used my Sony 50mm 1.8 lens.

When you see something nice it doesn't matter what camera you use, just gotta take the picture.  In this case I was very glad that the camera I had was my Galaxy Note 4.

Introduction
My name is Javier Torres and technology has always been a great part of my life.  I grew up playing video games and doing stuff online.

Ever since around 93 I've always found a way to let my opinion on things be known online.  First started posting my stuff on XBand.  In the year 2002 I started a forum called Anarchy Forums.  Eventually Anarchy Forums became Anarchy Live which is currently this Blog.

I don't consider myself an expert at anything, I just have opinions on things and I like to give them out.  I also like to make people think about certain things we may not normally think about.

Sometimes I may come off as somewhat politically incorrect, but some times you just have to dare and go against what people think is normal.

Anyway, check out my site at http://www.anarchylive.com

It's a Bakers Square so you should know their pies are delicious. The food is not bad either. Would I come here if I wanted an awesome burger? No, I probably wouldn't, their burger isn't bad in any way but there are much better burger places out there, but they do have a good menu with plenty of good things in there. I enjoy coming to this location a lot and honestly it's not so much because of the food, it's mostly because of the service, they are usually very friendly and fun. Specially if you go later in the night when things are slower. Some of the best food I've had here are things that are not in the menu, just things the staff has come up with. I certainly recommend this place to anyone looking to just enjoy a good meal or even better a piece of pie with coffee.

Great laid back atmosphere and good pizza, not great but certainly good enough for a good time.

I was wondering if I should give this place a 2 or 3 stars. I'll start with the thing that disappointed me the most, when I got my pizza it was cut in squares!! I'm not sure how you can call yourself a New York pizza place and cut your pizza in squares!! The other thing that disappointed me was the fact that the crust was not anywhere near what I'm used to from New York Pizza. It was too thin! Finally I thought the price was a bit on the high side for what you get. Took about an hour for delivery which seems like too much for a place that's not even a mile away from me but I guess now a days an hour is normal, and I could have just picked it up. Was feeling lazy. It wasn't all bad, the pizza itself was actually pretty good, a bit on the spicy side, I like that but some of the other people didn't care for it. I had specifically asked them to do a pie cut but they messed up and cut it in squares so the lady from the place called asking me if this would be ok or not, I was hungry and just wanted my food so I said it was ok, but I was still like "Seriously? That's their default?". But at least they did notice their mistake and they asked. The lady I talked to was not rude in any way. I used grub hub to order from this place, so I will give them props for that, I think more restaurants should start using grub hub. I like how when I get my food I don't even have to sign anything because I've already paid grub hub. The Delivery driver was polite, he called me to let me know how was there. Since I didn't have to pay him anything and I had already left him a tip on grub hub then our transaction was very short. I wouldn't say the pizza was cold, but it certainly wasn't hot either. Which again coming from a place so close to me makes me wonder why. But overall the experience was just ok. Would I order from here again? Sure, I'd try them out if I was too lazy to go to Pizza Shuttle, but I certainly wouldn't consider them a New York pizza place. I think "The Classic Slice" has a much more New York feel to it.
