Guess what??? I decided that I need to quit sitting on my novel and publish it. First I need to get it edited (already hired and editor) and maybe get a new cover created (undecided). My goal is to do a couple more rounds of editing with some professional help and put the book up for sale later this year. I would like to have it ready for Oct (zombies and all), but my fallback plan is by December.

I also updated by blog and switched out the theme. Doesn't really fit zombies, but I still like it. Very simple and I think it looks pretty good. I won't be posting too much about it using this account so if you want to follow my book stuff, you can follow my other profile.

To go with the new account, I also made an awesome new email (in my opinion). If you want to try it out then email me @ jcweitze.com . :-) See how awesome it is? ha ha

Feel free to email me if you want to join as a late stage beta reader or a pre-release reader. I could always use more help!

Whew. What a day. I got up this morning to start cooking around 4. I used slow cookers for most of it so I could keep everything warm since I didn't know exactly when we would be eating. All I knew is everyone would be here around noon and there would be 10 to 16 people.

I made a Gingersnap ham, green beans, scalloped potatoes, mac n cheese, and cinnamon apples. Then I cheated and bought some pumpkin pies from Costco. Otherwise everything else was fresh. It turned out amazing and was totally worth it.

All I have to say is that +Alton Brown is a genius.

And here is what is for brunch. Not sure what to call them. They are hash browns, chorizo, egg, and cheese. I think I will just call them delicious.

My wife and I started playing #ArcheAge yesterday. It has been a while since I played an MMO so it is a little slow getting back into the swing of things. We are really enjoying it so far.

Good:
Vehicles - Gliders, boats, mounts, sport cars, farm wagons...
Crafting - Can be main activity instead of side thing everyone does
Sandbox - There is so much to do!
Housing - You basically pick the house and location then decorate it.

Bad:
Quests are not that exciting.
No audio from quest-givers.
Not much challenge yet, but we are still low level.
Can't share quests (and they are easy to miss).

Guess I will see you all in a few years!  ha ha :-)

OMG! I didn't know this was going to be a thing!! Time to go re-read all of the others again. Assassin's Apprentice is what taught me that books could be awesome. I am very excited that more will be coming out.
