I'm breaking my self-imposed no public posting rule.

+Motorola Mobility, what is this nonsense?

My Droid Maxx on +Verizon Wireless has been crashing repeatedly lately. I've had numerous apps, the keyboard and even the system UI go belly up.

I voluntarily performed a factory reset on the phone right after my update to KitKat to avoid any leftover configuration issues.

How many months ago was that? 3?!

There's no excuse for this.

Dang.  In that case, demand your money back from VZN or a different device.

Made a Batman Zipper Pouch recently and another Wonder Woman purse. Am trying out different methods with the purse. This one has silver stars and a more rope-like handle.

+Melissa Fisher does it again!

Finally was able to get a Wonder Woman Purse done! Just in time for today!

My shop has been doing wonderfully and I even have two reviews! Please take some time to take a look at what I have.

I have sold 3 Harley Quinn pouches and I will definitely be making more. Soon to come: another Batman Purse, possibly try something for Poison Ivy, another Wonder Woman Purse, and a Harley Quinn purse.

+Papa Los, why do you insist on blocking me?

I'm getting tired of being talked around by a ghost in posts of people I enjoy.

This makes me a bit sad. I absolutely LOVE +Sears but if they truly believe the following statement, they have much to change:

"Lampert, who controls about 48 percent of Sears’s shares, said in his annual letter to investors that the company’s digital investments may pay off this year as customers take advantage of services such as drive-up merchandise pickup."

Not long ago I wrote a lengthy review/comment to Sears regarding their mobile Android application. If any of you have ever used it, it's atrocious. Search and filter features are outright broken or missing completely. Navigation, while improved over the years, is still awkward and nearly every page's loading times make me want to chuck stacks of AOL trial disks at their programmer to painfully remind them that we shouldn't suffer through dial-up load times in this age.

In addition to the application's massive shortcomings, Sears has also attempted to integrate the sales of merchandise from multiple vendors on their website. Imagine my anger after spending significant time on their site to find the ideal tool for my weekend project only to discover that it's not offered at my local Sears (OR ANY SEARS RETAIL STORE). That is an immediate loss of business for me.

Basically i needed a dryer belt and i was on hold from their standalone design store to their dept store (45 minutes) and hung up on after they picked up because they had customers in line. I called back and asked a very simple question of "do you have dryer belts?" He asked for what machine and I said a dryer. he hung up. I chose not to visit their customer service desk because I was so angry. I did find a generic belt right off the bat.

i left there, found one at Home Depot and posted my issue on twitter (yes, very short) and there customer service folks flooded my feed. after many times of telling them I will not be using them again, i had to resort to the lawyer comment. all has been quiet since and I closed my twitter account.

A week or two later there was an article about how they were performing poorly and how they needed to change their image.

INGRESS FRUSTRATIONS

I have been told for the second time in a week that someone else's fielding plans are more important than mine. I have been planning the solo fielding op for this weekend for the majority of this month.

Furthermore, one of these other operations is intending to use my portals. Not just "my" portals as they were submitted by me, captured by me and have only been in my possession since that activation but rather these are specific ones I captured, maxed out and have kept fully charged for weeks for the purpose of my fielding. They want to use these conveniently activated portals.

I'm not saying that I should not take one for the team and allow the MU gain for my faction for operations much larger than my one man band. I do realize I'm not the only game in town and ultimately Ingress is about teamwork.

Regardless...

I'm at a loss as to how I will proceed. Part of me wants to throw my fields as I had planned, throw the finger and make my point. The other part wants to be the team player but I buck being told what to do.

No matter what....

The crew that is interested in using my portals....yeah.... They are going to be disappointed.

I'm all for team play, but I don't remember reading about a chain of command in Ingress.  If you want to put your fields up, do it.  If someone doesn't like it, they'll get over it.

Well, it is unfortunate that the time has finally come for me to make this review. Let me preface this review by saying that I have been a fairly regular customer for over 10 years including a few years that we visited a minimum of once a week. The food and beverages were a great value, the food was consistently delicious and the staff was great. I assure you that the review to follow is not based on a small sample size. Kitchen Staff/Food: The entirety of the current kitchen staff either suffers from lack of concern for the food leaving the window or is simply incapable of cooking food properly and consistently. I have recently started requesting my fries without seasoning because I could no longer take the mounds they deemed necessary. We have received medium wings (their lowest heat) that have brought me to tears. I had a burger only a few weeks ago that was overcooked and tasted like they had not cleaned the grill in days. The boneless wings and chicken tenders that my wife orders every trip have been delivered so hard we were unable to pierce them with the forks and the sauce is different most trips. The ticket instructions given to the kitchen are commonly ignored and food arrives with ingredients specifically noted to be removed. Wait Staff: The wait staff is one of the few bright points in an otherly dismal review. Most of them are friendly and try to help out in any way possible. There are still a couple that have no ability to get an order correct and I find it completely incredible that they can still find the section they are covering. It's sad that the owners have run away so many great staff. Environment: While I am more than a supporter of small hole-in-the-wall businesses, Chicken Shak is likely to be the most disgusting establishment I've ever encountered. The grease-laden carpets that tend to grasp the chair legs with a force that should create envy in the duct tape community have the benefit of the perpetually darkened room so the clientele is unable to see on what they walk. The restroom doors are nearly unlockable despite a myriad of cheap replacement hardware they've used over the years. The front sign lit on fire over a month ago and has yet to be replaced. Price: Throughout the years I have witnessed price hikes that, while I was not fond of, typically made sense. I began coming here for the reasonably priced food and beverages yet I can no longer state that this applies. The last menu change brought with it an increase of up to 20% on many items. I realize that the cost of food increases but I would challenge that this percentage is necessary. Since the quality of the food has not improved, I find it questionable that they put the price on par with other restaurants in the area such as Chili's, O'Charley's and Applebee's. Clientele: This may have been the final nail in the coffin for us. There have been many situations (mostly with the same patron) that have discouraged us from returning. We have been forced to tolerate bared rears only inches from our table while we were eating, screaming of insults to fans of other teams almost to the point of blows and even the yelling of the entire dictionary of profanity throughout the restaurant despite the presence of children. I realize that this is intended to be a sports bar but there should be no reason for someone to behave so poorly he is just shy of swinging from the ceiling fans, smacking patrons and urinating in the corner. I have seen people removed from the premises of other bars for much less. We have stated our concerns to the staff who were ultimately told to leave him alone by the owners and managers. In conclusion, we may very well give Chicken Shak another opportunity in the future to redeem itself but I assure you that it will not be for many months.
