Do Unions Really Benefit All Workers?

This study is a year old, but I think it’s worth posting again. Chris Christie is fighting with the teachers unions. Verizon is fighting with the Communication Workers of America.
Unions are a net drag on the economy. Collective bargaining inhibits growth, the less a state is impacted by unions, the better off its citizens will be.

It's probably a safe bet to say that this is another shooting that occurred in a "gun free zone"

+NBC Sports  and +GoPro are experimenting with the future of how people will watch sports. I wish they would have had a camera on Geraint Thomas when he went into that telephone pole.
Early in the Tour de France this year, a horrible crash forced six riders to abandon—including one, Fabian Cancellara, who finished the day with two broken vertebrae. NBC reported that 400,000 people had streamed the day’s racing through its app. GoPro footage of the aftermath, shot by a mechanic, quickly blew up too.

"I don’t want my marriage or my guns registered in Washington." ~Rand Paul

Rand Paul was given very little time to speak in the first GOP debate, but he did have this great quote: “I don’t want my marriage or my guns registered in Washington. If people have an opinion, it’s a religious opinion that is heart-felt, obviously they…

Cleveland Dog Park is a great place to socialize man's best friend. It is clean and well-maintained. There is a water fountain for the dogs and they provide two waste stations with free bags. They have several benches and swings for human companions to relax on. Dogs of all sizes are welcome. Many thanks to the City of Greenville for providing a safe place for dogs to play.

Today, I found the most awesome wing place I’ve ever eaten at in Pennsylvania. It’s called Arooga’s. They have over 30 different wing sauces. Everything from the standard mild, medium, hot and instant death to more exotic flavors like Red Thai and General Tso’s. I didn’t think my stomach could take Hot today, so I ordered Medium. Those big juicy meaty wings were had plenty of spicy goodness. The were served over a basketful of what appeared to be fresh cut fries. Since I was eating alone, I appreciated the fact they had a small TV at every table that you could tune to your favorite channe. Best lunch I’ve had in a long time!

Our waitress was complaining, "They normally have three girls working this section, but I'm the only one working it tonight." It was a lousy excuse, she was just slow and inattentive. Even though it's close to my house, I won't eat there again any time soon. Better to go on down the Pike and eat at the Middlesex diner. The food is decent, but expensive. I think I paid 2 bucks more than I should have for my steak sandwich.
