In many many media outlets the hype for Pokémon Go is building fast. That has some people worried about the future of Ingress.
, , and especially ... You could probably settle a lot of nerves and concerns if you can tell us what the future of Ingress looks like to you?
Will there still be a dedicated dev team and support for Ingress.. Or will resources be pooled in a general Niantic team?
If "buzz" is an indication, Pokémon Go will surpass the number of Ingress players probably very shortly after launch.
Will Ingress players be "that other game" or will new and exciting things continue to happen?
Anomalies? Backstory? New features... These things all seem to be unknown at the moment, and many people within local Ingress communities are asking.
Personally, I assume we'll be told when the next Ingress anniversary comes around in a couple months, but a few words of reassurance between now and then would probably not go amiss.
